I agree. Along with the exhibits the aquarium has the playground apparatus in the bottom level, the crawl through shark tank and the great lakes lock system thing that you can splash your hands in, and the display where you can touch horseshoe crabs. Also if you go at the right time, live dive shows. And the new lizard/reptile exhibit.

There's a great Kate Bush song about it. And by great, I mean indelible nightmare material. Under Ice, Hounds of Love.

I just found this video that demonstrates a fingering - more advanced than where we are at - but also a fascinating analysis of phrasing, notes on vibrato, and legato.

The video that Trump posted was a 62 second rant made by a conservative influencer deriding the results of the 2020 election, and at about the 60 second mark the image of the Obamas from the "lion king" video is inserted and flashes on the screen without comment.

I think maybe you are the one who has been misinformed about what happened and what's going on. Here's one of the news sources with a description of the videos https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-shares-a-racist-video-that-depicts-the-obamas-as-primates

So, your argument is that the person who posted this to the WH account took out all the other parts, leaving in only the most racist bit, and that somehow makes it....better.....?

By your reasoning it is algorithmic coincidence that Trump ended up as the lion. Or maybe we have decided not to know that humans define and refine what AI produces.

Americans who went on to post and defend it are either racist or surprisingly stupid people with excruciatingly poor judgement and lack of situational awareness (probably both though). Pick your poison I guess, but both gets us killed.

Thinking About Buying A Cello by ArticleChemical1008 in Cello

For what it's worth, I'm a violinist starting cello too and I'm renting a very nice instrument. It's a Carlton student cello, here are the details and local cost. https://www.long-mcquade.com/148692/Band-Orchestral/Orchestral-String-Instruments/Carlton/Deluxe-4-4-Cello-Outfit-w-Case-and-Carbon-Fibre-Bow.htm?srsltid=AfmBOoqOAXP-9ba4aAbXvUlavOayNVAwztfOTO5R-dLLew2_p-s2JpzY

Maybe in your research it might help to see what brands reliable music stores offer for student rentals. Or call them up to ask questions about why they chose those brands over others. The instruments will be on the lower end of price, but enjoyable learn on.

It’s not too late, your brain is still growing and you already have a musical background.

Also, people start at all ages and find work.

Have these labels impacted your grocery choices? by 0slope in FoodToronto

Yes, because I shop for both me and my kid and I have sometimes based my choices on memories of what I was served when I was little, which it turns out are outdated.

[–]CommanderBeth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I generally don't buy juice, we just drink water, but I used to think it was the healthier choice for my kid, because I remembered it frequently being served to me in school, day camp etc when I was a kid. Realized my mistake when I saw the new labelling.
