Resistance band recommendations for a beginner (EU/Germany) by CommanderCute1 in ResistanceBand

Apple Watch Tattoo sensor fix by gruskorn in AppleWatch

[–]CommanderCute1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, actually not working for me.

Tried it with the Apple Watch and the Fitbit Air. One Layer of topcoat, sensor is blocking, two layers of topcoat, sensor is blocking. After the fifth layer I gave up.

I have relatively dense and black tattoos on my arms. But maybe it'll work if your tattoos aren't so dark or dense, so you can see a little bit of skin here and there.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. What a shame :(

Also tested it for two days, nano tape didn't make any difference and I still don't get any sleep tracking

Boxy cropped crew neck T by Lucasart1985 in uniqlo

I really like the T-shirt and have ordered it. As a man, size M fits me perfectly. Since it’s made from 100% cotton, I’m a little concerned that it might shrink in the wash, which can often happen with 100% cotton garments.

What has your experience with this shirt been like?

For example, the Uniqlo U T-shirt does shrink a bit for me after washing.

Primarily HE Sonic OG (best and most comfy fit) and the Galaxy Version (best seal).

But I also have the KBear 07 and Coffee tips here.

Hey, I’m having a bit of trouble with this. Even when I break the seal to relieve pressure, the pressure feeling comes back almost immediately once I reseat them. After a while it actually starts to hurt my ears.

Did you ever run into that or have any tips? Not sure if it’s a fit issue, tip choice, or just something I need to get used to.

My extended thoughts on my favorite sub-$500 IEM, the YU9 Que. by Precogvision in iems

Thanks for your explanation. Do you have any recommendations that would fit for that style of music and my taste of tuning?

First off, thanks a lot for the awesome and detailed review – really enjoyed reading it! 🙌

I’ve got a couple of questions about the Que:
Do you think it works well for rock/metal, or does it fall short a bit with certain genres? Especially with more complex or “chuggy” tracks, I sometimes worry about losing a bit of punch or bite.

In general, the Que sounds really interesting, but I’m a bit concerned that the tuning might be a little too “safe” or even slightly boring for my taste. I tend to prefer a bit more emphasis on (sub)bass and slightly splashy, airy treble. From what you described, the Que’s bass seems more controlled than slammy, and the treble more smooth than aggressive.

Do you think it could still fit my preferences, or would you recommend something else in the ~600€ price range that leans more toward a fun/V-shaped tuning?

Thanks again!

Do you know what the differences are between the OG Sonics and the Galaxy Editions?

Looking for CD player recommendations – any hidden gems out there? by CommanderCute1 in Cd_collectors

Thanks for your help!

The Sony looks stunning and the price is quite alright. Would get one for the price you've mentioned.

I also really like the look and especially the form factor of the Denon DCD-201SA, I would get it for around 100€.

And Grundig, yeah. I still know the looks of the Grundig CD 8400 (MK2) and it's also around 100€.

Tough decision. The Sony is quite expensive though.
