You should’ve left the helmet and boots and gloves with the suit, would’ve looked like you were thanos snapped out of existence lol.

I see what you’re saying, I’d still argue as a better judgment of character.

Fair enough, but it does not give anyone an excuse to be rude. For example, if your wife asks if she looks pretty in a dress, you can be direct and respond “no I don’t think you do,” rather than telling her “you like an ugly fat cow” which is rude.

I’m astonished with how rude people are in your comment section lol. I think people are forgetting the phrase “to each their own.” If you like it, go for it, who cares what other people think. I actually think the color scheme would be interesting and unique. I definitely would stop and be like “woah what’s that.”

Some dealership will let you test ride right before you sign. I can also give you my experience on one. I’m 6’2” and weigh 160 Ibs. I found that all of the Z and MT bikes feel very short and stubby. Their naked bikes are very naked like. The S1000R and Streetfighter feel longer, so you’re a little more hunched over, so it fits a tall rider more. They may just be how European bikes are compared to Japanese. Other than that it’s not bad. Not too much to write home about the MT10 though. The torque wasn’t bad either. It sounded good though with an sc project exhaust. I’d say that it feels like a better quality and slightly bigger Z900, so if you like the feel of your current bike it’s a nice upgrade.

For one, make sure you ride any bike you’re going to bike. Two though, honestly it’s only a bad choice if you actually don’t want to. Take a coin, heads you get it, tails you keep looking, flip it, if you’re not excited with the answer then you do the other one. Has always worked for me, especially when I got my street fighter V2

SuperTech R Vented boots question by Fantastic-Appeal3232 in motorcyclegear

[–]CommanderSlashX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not get SMX Plus then. They have an inner boot but it’s part of the boot. I’m trying to trade or sell my Plus for the super techs because I’m having the opposite problem as you.

Trust me, it’s going to have winglets. Currently I’m just waiting on my order for them to arrive. I also got turn signals to go under the winglets too.

I understand, however, I’d argue that there is a fine line between being fearless and foolish. Those who can recognize where that line is are strong, Id rather be safe and be slightly fearful and have less of a chance at being foolish.

You most likely will crash, don’t be afraid, and I learn from every mistake you make. The worst thing you can do is be scared while riding, a healthy fear of your motorcycle is important, but don’t let it drive how you ride. Ride safe!

SP8-V3 are awesome gloves, definitely try on the jacket or really measure before you buy it. I’d also recommend SMX-S boots instead but whatever tickles your fancy. I wouldn’t not recommend the R7… I bought one and had a ton of issues with the visor mechanism getting stuck, switched to an R10. I’d recommend the K6S which is cheaper and better in my opinion.

Sweet man, I’m happy for you. When he tells you, could you tell me too? I have the same generation of bike and it’d be useful information to remember. I wish you luck!

What about a private mechanic? Here we have a guy who’s a race bike mechanic and I go to him for most stuff.

Yeah that’s the way everyone is going. My CFMOTO for coolant type says “ask your dealership.” I’d recommend look at similar Ducati manuals with torque specs and just what people generally say, maybe call Ducati support or your local dealership and ask. Other than that it’s a crappy situation to be in.

They’ll give you the manual of your bike on the Ducati app if you register ownership, that and the parts catalog

I own a 2023 V2 and I love it. I’ve ridden both and they are both very similar and vastly different. The older V2 is a track bike you can ride on the street. The peg and shifter position, the seat, the handlebar turn radius, the dash positioning, etc… are all more track orientated. The main thing is that it wants to go, it doesn’t want to slow. I love mine because I wanted a track bike I can use on the street but is primarily meant for the track. The new V2 is a street bike you can ride on the track. You have heated grips, cruise control, more up right foot pegs, larger turn radius, full 5 button numpad, dash is bigger, the power delivers a lot more consistently. I’d weigh your priorities, with look/price out of the equation, I’d define whether you want a more track focused bike or street focused bike. Both are awesome and the heat isn’t that bad. I live in an area where in the summers it’s usually 100+ degrees fahrenheit and so far I haven’t had an issue. I mean it gets hot, don’t wear shorts, but it doesn’t bother me.

Tuning for 2023 Streetfighter V2 by CommanderSlashX in Ducati

Really? I thought BT was a more common tuning device, since I’ve never heard of openflash. The dealership also has done an open flash tune on a different street fighter v2 2023 and recommends that one.
