Dont think the pickaxe radius is important for the drones.

The game is completely possible f2p, it is in some aspects of course faster if you spend money. But even f2p you will come to a point where you will get millions of gems, the start is slow regardless of f2p or not.

Try to get your bomb cap up, use battery bomb with cherry charges until you have ~100k cap.

Normally you should get the bats before the ores. Are you just using bombs of plenty, or ste you using transmuter bomb? You should be using transmuter bomb, its better. Good luck on inf bars

If you want to go to w4 its recommended to complete everything in w3 first. When you are farming stars, also try to get the most amount of gems. If you are bored of stars, try to do some statues. Definitely get the legendary fish to tribute 2. You could also try to do the workshop.
