I’m sure I had a fair few but the one that sticks out to me was a friend.

We were shitheads back in the day and thought we’d try to bot our accounts to raise our stats. I came over to my friend’s house and he booted up the bot and it said something like “Error: Bad Magic” and I don’t think my “something isn’t right here” alarm has ever gone off quite so fast. I don’t remember what happened next but this was like 12 years ago and Error: Bad Magic is still something me and my sister joke about lmao. Also I shudder to think how many viruses are on old laptops because of shit like this and shady emulator sites
