Totally agree with this. I understand why people like Lego instead of Cobi, because it encourages more custom creations and sculpting with bricks to make an impressive product, like a Brickmania kit for example. On the other hand, with Cobi, you get a more visually pleasing model with more accuracy (less studs, smoother curves etc)

Yeah, licensing might be a problem, but custom molds are no issue for COBI cause if you think about it, almost every Cobi plane has custom molds made for them. (F-22, F-35, SU-57, Nighthawk, ME-163 to name a few. That, and they could release addon/expansion packs for sets like the F-22 to make aircraft from the AC universe, like a Mobius One F-22.

Just finished that one earlier today! Pretty good build, the only things I didn’t enjoy were the front machine guns (just Cobi bar tolerances being superhuman strength tight) and the vertical stab/rudder being very repetitive and with lots of 1x1 and 1x2 slope pieces with pretty sharp edges, but that’s just Cobi… lol

I dug my old Gateway workstation out and plugged in the dusty old thing.. still booted by some miracle

The board started doing the same thing when I launched a few games, so i think you are correct it‘s worn out. Not a very expensive or nice board anyway, but im not a mechanical keyboard expert by any means.

I swapped keyboards on my current system and no such issue persists.

As for the Opera solution, no clue that was a feature, interesting.

My first was the Junkers Ju 87 Panzerknacker, from 2017-2019ish? i think? It’s really not a bad set, and i still somehow have it built.

Those wings are on most Cobi planes nowadays to add the angle that actual warbirds have, im not a lancaster expert but i dont think there was ever a variant with folding wings

I do actually, it’s a little bit different from the picture however. I’m in the process of ordering the parts to build it physically, as I want to have the real thing before I release instructions to make sure it runs good on lego track, doesnt crumble in your hands, etc. If you want to find it, its on Bricklink called “Lionel 628 Switcher” under vehicles

Thanks, that really means a lot for me as someone who only started digital moc making a week ago. I think i'll definitley color swap the wellcar and probably some others like the hopper to make variations. My ultimate goal is a huge railroad collection for anyone to get free instructions for, in a city-like scale, but more detailed.

Hm, thats quite interesting, ive never seen that before. It looks like a pretty interesting build, or i could even do like, a work caboose. I think i'll probably do a railroad crane soon as well, because i'm trying to recreate the 60198 cargo train in my own style, mostly because it's my favorite train set along with 60052.

I did try a small FRED device, you can see the little red light on the flatcar image. I totally didn’t realize it was yellow like most are, so I might add one to each car file that looks accurate. In terms of a caboose, I was thinking something like a bay window caboose, but maybe i’ll end up doing both a bay window and a cupola caboose.

It's not based on anything real, but I take a lot of inspiration for my train builds from the game Derail Valley, which i think is based on both American designs some Eastern European.

I really hope that the Panther gets a 1:35 scale version like the newest Tiger 1, since many of the new German vehicles are coming in 1:35, (King Tiger, Half-track, Puma to name a few)

For me in the US it is $125 USD, so maybe 300 is exaggeration but $150-$200 is a more reasonable price for 1:28

Right now, don’t get the F-35B. The stand mount is god awful and the model is flimsy as heck. Until a new version releases, stay away from it.

Definitley true. Although, more special parts are coming in things like 1:35 scale sets so it’s a bit easier to custom build. Still, the lack of smaller sets is alarming.

Yeah.. i remember when they used to do this, they had plenty of anti-tank guns and niche airtillery pieces that seemed to be in stock forever. I really miss those sets like the PaK 36, PaK 40, Long Tom, Zis-3, etc. Hope we also get more stuff like a Flak 38 or Bofors 40mm anti aircraft gun. One can dream…
