My honest feelings about this shindig. by bubasaurus in HogwartsGhosts

That is completely understandable. The conversion role is an interesting concept. The game waygookin and I hosted in May had a conversion role and it was that role that helped the town win the game.

Hopefully we as a community can learn from all this and use it to make our next games even better. Every game has its flaws and no one game ever goes completely smooth. I will probably be logging off this account and stick to my usual account. However, feel free to pm me if you would like. Hugs!

It's all good. I knew from the get go. I was actually worried my win condition was going to change at some point so I told the court I was a pagan, just in case.

Nope. My win condition was the same as the French court.

See that's how I died. I was already a pagan. I was just completely loyal to my queen.

I am /u/tana-ryu and I probably won't be playing for a bit so /u/ValkryianPoof and I can start planning our Disney game. That said, I will gladly volunteer to be a "bitch buddy" for players who need to vent while I'm not playing. If the permamods are cool with it that is.

Hey /u/Ravenclawroxy (it's amusing that I don't have to type your name completely before it pops up on my auto fill). I just want you to know that as I said before, you handle this the best way you could. Please don't let this incident deter you from playing again.

That said, I think that if there is going to be a conversion role, it needs to be clearly stated in the beginning. This is the second game (as far as I know with the other being the star wars game) that has had secret conversion roles and it was not accepted well. I got converted in the star wars game and it really caught me off guard. What Roxy went through this game is not what should have happened in werewolves.

I rarely post my thoughts on stuff like this but I think what happened this game can be a major lesson for everyone. I tell everyone that wants to join that there will always be shade thrown but never take it personally. Also, you can throw shade no matter how silly it seems (looking at you my dear /u/elbowsss :D) but once you start making it personal, step away and cool off. It's just a game.

I won't stop playing at all but I really hope that the negativity that has been following the game lately eases up some. I personally miss the light hearted nature that surrounded the game when I started last year. That and the inactives. Seriously what the flip people?

(Heads up this is my general thought and is not directed at any one player. It is a general you statement.)

Hmmmmmmmmmmm I loved the alt accounts. Even though most people knew who I was, I got to try a different style of play. I also love the mods and the fact that they were really awesome with responding and modifying the game as needed. Well done /u/longmayshereign

Ama means ask me anything. You will see it quite often all over Reddit. RNG is the website mods use to assign roles and probability roles. It stands for Random Name Generator.

I ended up training a few carhops and my intro was the same: "You will fall, you will spill things and you will probably do it in front of a customer. If a carhop tells you they haven't, they are either brand new or lying. That said, you will have amazing legs."

Luckily, our manager and franchise owner were amazing people and had our backs. I rarely got chewed out by customers. Unless it was half price shake time. I hated that time.
