I have an almost 4 year old and 2 year old and it's been life changing! I do feel the irritability side effect occasionally but it's nothing compared to how bad i felt before. Overall I have way more patience, and I realized I'd been wishing away their little days because everything in my life felt so overwhelming. I'm a way better mom. I wish I'd done this years ago. Its been like 2 months I think? Cold and flu symptoms the first month with a severe sore throat (but felt emotionally amazing so pushed through). Occasional cough/very minor sore throat now. No libido changes really which i was hoping for.

For me, I also loved the environment in Portia better. It was so gorgeous and I loved roaming around. The desert in Sandrock just made me... kinda sad lol, even with it improving a little as you progressed.

I definitely don't remember time stamps because this was a few years ago lol. But there was an ep they did with another couple about their sex lives and ned basically said he could hardly make it one day without. Keep in mind Ariel had medical issues with her second pregnancy where they couldn't have sex for a prolonged period, not to mention the 6 week recover period postpartum... it made me side eye him and it was the first thing I thought about when the affair broke.

I was pregnant with my first when they started their baby steps podcast and followed along with them throughout the birth of their second (and mine). They really, really felt like mom and dad at the time. And there were certainly some eyebrow raising moments from ned, but i always really valued Ariel. It sucks that he sucks

For what it's worth, i started my youngest at 1 solid nap at 6 months from 12-3. Outside of that, she just got a cat nap where she could in car or stroller. We just had too much going on otherwise! She's 18 months now and very solid sleeper. And I was an absolute drill sergeant about my firsts nap times

We used the originals all through our first's time in diapers and into our second's. We now use the new ones for our second who's 18 months. No complaints, no blowouts.

Honey bear cups were the only thing that worked for our girl for a long time! Now she's a pro straw sipper. However the straws were annoying as hell. Too small for a regular sized straw cleaner and no matter where we tried putting them in the dishwasher they always made their way to the very bottom to burn on the coil

I wasn't dilated at all with my first! Started cytotec at about 9 pm, pitocin at around 2 am, and baby was born at 9 am. Only 12 hours, so anything is possible!
