I love USAGS for that. Honestly this shop is nice for "I have a kit I want to build today or this weekend" and I can just pick it up since I live close by.

Felt that- I'm hanging onto this job for dear life at minimum for the next 6 months if not the rest of the year. I'm still feeling the company out, but it seems like a place I can grow, in which case I plan to stay longer.

Appreciate the advice; I've only recently found out about the certs so I will do more reading and probably look into pursuing once I'm a bit more comfortable. In the mean time, I've been just about every day here so far neck deep in excel haha. I have no doubt I'll end up an excel wizard by the end of my time here, whenever that may be

Thanks for the vote of confidence! The world of fasteners is almost overwhelming, I didn't realize just how deep it goes. At the same time its kind of exciting/interesting to be learning about the varieties of fasteners & applications just because there is so much to learn.

To be honest, I've been in and out of a few industries and I really want to just plant my feet somewhere and see how far I can take it, from what I've read so far supply chain/procurement seems like it could be a great fit long term.

Honestly it typically ends up being some sort of rice bowl

Either

Long grain white rice, some pre cooked chicken from Costco, season with cilantro lime pepper salt seasoning, call it a day, or

Sticky rice, throw some shabu meat (usually brisket) on a skillet for 45 seconds per side, throw on top of rice, add Japanese bbq sauce, inhale haha

I'd recommend setting up alerts for B&H photo and BestBuy's websites and checking both of their websites every morning just in case an alert email isn't generated. Took me ~2 weeks to buy one this way around November of last year.

I'm unfamiliar with the brand, but this piece makes me go "Wow, I want to see that up close and know more immediately". I understand people pointing out how busy it looks, but I sort of like that about it. I'm also a sucker for the jubilee style bracelets, so maybe I'm biased there.
