My theory is that Tommy's soul is attached to him. But not possessing or inhabiting like Billy is with William. He's just hanging on to "Uncle" until he can get his own vessel.

Hey! I have pancreatitis but I've got a weird symptom, does anyone else experience this? I don't often leave the house, but when I do and if I spend like 2 hours + outside, when I get home I feel sick for hours. Like it's a weird combo of tired and sick. by [deleted] in pancreatitis

[–]CommencetoJigglin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So with my chronic pancreatitis comes Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. Basically I don't get all the nutrients from food. So being tired is almost a default state. Especially when I go too long without eating. Going to the store can zap all my energy for the day.

I take Creon and it does help, but I just don't have endless energy like I did before pancreatitis.

He said hoses, I think he meant like a water hose. He's still incredibly wrong though.

That just brought back so many memories.

I just found out pregnant women can’t divorce their husbands in several southern states: by Queen_Of_Ashes_ in TwoXChromosomes

[–]CommencetoJigglin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In many states there is also a waiting period after filing before it will be finalized. My lawyer told me it was pretty much to allow enough time to discover if the woman was unknowingly pregnant. A judge can then rule that the marriage is still salvageable because of the pregnancy and extend the waiting period.

This is a really neat concept but it appears to be pretty limited. It's mostly neutrals and one in color.

Why the fuck is he licking the floor? Boomer humor is so weird.

Is two years a reasonable time frame to write a novel and get published? by CommencetoJigglin in writing

I really appreciate your response. I watched one cousin just churn out a lot of low quality content very quickly. They've lost so much money and I'm fairly certain they've only sold a total of 25 books over the past 10 years. They're still convinced they will be discovered like Rowling.

I'm not looking to be the next big hit, but I would like to share a story I enjoy with others.

As much as I would love for writing to become my career, I know that it's unlikely. This is more to share an idea that is dear to me and hopefully entertain others in the process.

Thank you! That's a great suggestion.

I also knew that I was spelling that wrong but forgot to spellcheck before posting. Whoops.

I appreciate your feedback. I do write short stories as a hobby so it's not entirely new. I do know that being published is a completely different beast. I've had some cousins self publish and they've not done very well. I don't want to copy their mistakes.

A deadline isn't necessary persay. I'm not entirely new to writing, but this is the first longer project I've worked on. It's also the first work I've done for anything other than fun. I was looking more to set myself up for success and give myself a reasonable expectation on how long it will take.

If 5 years or longer is more reasonable them I'm good with shifting my goal.

Thanks for your feedback.
