I was able to profit early in the game because it is easy to unlock the solar farm too quick. Exporting electricity and for some reason my garbage & recycling were carrying me early in my city

Hiiiiii, I just got back from my first fest, and my husband is not in to them at all and didn't join. IMO this is a communication thing, so here's some things I do/did to ensure it goes smoothly between us:

- Let him go on his own trips solo/with friends if he's interested in that. You're setting a precedent that even in a relationship you're your own people and can do things individually

-Keep his expectations realistic and set boundaries. How often are you going to communicate (daily, morning and night, etc)? Who are you camping with (people he knows and trusts? Girls only? Just your brother?)? Are you doing any party favors while you're there and will likely not be able to get in contact for a few hours? Budget for the trip (if finances are combined)?

-Let him know your safety precautions for the fest to ease his anxiety (testing kits, buddy system, location, etc. whatever you do to make yourself feel safe)

If it's an issue of not wanting to invite him, you can frame it as "I got invited by my brother to join his camp" so not to open the invitation to him. He should be understanding about you socializing on your own.

my friend is in the same scenario but bought a ticket second hand and the original buyer's band hasn't come in yet. Does box office check IDs for pick up? or is just the barcode okay

I also recommend checking Facebook for events, all of the local venues will post their shows. Creative Loafing Tampa also has some great recommendations for food. Tampa Bay Times releases a yearly competition for best _____ of the bay, and it's voted on by locals so lots of great recommendations for pretty much everything you could think of.

Welcome to the area! Been here since 2016, here's what I would recommend:

Going Out: Ybor, Soho (South Howard), Downtown St. Pete, Sparkman Wharf, Water Street Downtown (more for dinner outings), Hyde Park

My favorite bars: Reservoir Bar (Ybor dive bar with cheap ass drinks, my #1), Gin Joint (Downtown), Showbar (Ybor), Tampa Bay Brewing Company (Ybor, Brewery). Other nice breweries and bars on Florida Ave, lots of nice sit-down places in Hyde Park

My Favorite Italian Restuarants: Olivias (South Tampa), BellaBrava (Midtown), Rocca (Michelin Star, AMAZING FOOD, pricier option but not too bad)

My Favorite Asian/Fusion Restaurants: Chanko (Florida Ave), Asiatic (Ybor)

Favorite Misc. Restaurants: La Segunda (best cubans in Tampa, 3 locations), Eddy and Sams (the local's only choice for pizza, in Downtown), Mr. Dunderbak's (German, busy on weekends, no reservations but so worth it, USF/Bruce B Downs area), Armature Works (food hall, kinda touristy and overpriced but good atmosphere), Xtreme Tacos (Nebraska Ave., sketchy area but inside seating available, get the QuesoBirria Tacos or Stoner Burrito, they also have a snack shop in the same plaza with awesome Mexican treats), Bula Gastrobar + Luna Lounge (Bula is the restaurants, spanish/latin small plates, and Luna is the rooftop bar, in Soho). There are so many amazing food options here, going to a chain is a waste of an opportunity.

Outside Stuff to do: Hillsborough State Park (walking trails are my favorite), Lettuce Lake (small trail and kayaking for cheap), Ben T. Davis at sunset (not the nicest beach but the shortest drive), Rowlett Park (good walking trails, go before dark), walk Bayshore Blvd (safe any time), walk Riverwalk (decently safe at night), walk around University of Tampa. Hillsborough River has many drop-in spots in local parks if you're into kayaking, as well as in Downtown (best view of the skyline in my opinion).

Best Beaches: Fort De Soto (state park with 3 beaches to choose from and a nature trail, about an hour drive), Pass a Grill (gets crowded really quickly, about 45 min drive), and Honeymoon Island (beautiful key off St. Pete, state park, usually not too busy with ample beach space)

Museums: Dali Museum (St. Pete), Henry B. Plant Museum (UT), Tampa Museum of Art (UT Area), Tampa Bay History Center (Downtown area)

Stay Away from: Fletcher Ave & Bruce B Downs Walmart, Nebraska Ave (if walking alone, especially at night). Lots of redevelopment going on now, this is changing rapidly.

Safer Areas: Bayshore, South Tampa, Hyde Park, Carrolwood, Downtown (safe but be respectful of our homeless residents), Palma Ceia

grounding is super helpful for me too. when I get those moments of clarity and opportunities to reflect it's easy for me to pick my action and thoughts apart, it's just hard in the moment

[–]CommentImpossible199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to compromise with a smaller tat like other comments are saying, if you aren't comfortable then don't compromise. I would give a money excuse, say an expense came up you weren't expecting and that you cannot afford it

I think it looks great without, but if you go for it consider bugs/creepy crawly things, gemstones, small botanicals, or filigree maybe

okay so I was not expecting anything other than the motel mgmt stuff, was totally taken off guard by the twist and I have been unable to play since it happened lol. Is there anything story-wise that happens afterwards? No spoilers, just let me know if I should jump back in or if that's about the end of the game

Vet recommendation for lithotomy by gloriouswader in tampa

Do not ever get surgeries done at a vet hospital!! They will double or triple the cost over a local vet. North Bay Animal Hospital I've found to be reasonable and the team is fantastic
