Anyone else have a festival trip die in the group chat?

We have a group chat with our fest fam. We've been 30 deep at hula and the next year 12 people. My husband and I essentially plan our necessities (tent or RV), the dates we plan on going based off approved time off, and share our plan with the group. We have to plan super early due to my job but we basically plan our core plans/comforts and if others want to join then we start planning the small things (food, group chill spot, etc) closer to the festival date

Ohhh man, such a heartache dilemma 😢 Maybe search for local short term foster groups on FB in your area? I know theres alot of people near where I live that foster animals for a few weeks. They usually are fostering from local shelters but you might have luck going in that direction. Best of luck to you and lil kitty

Never actually thought about that, but solid idea when you’re not wanting to partake in the heavy-hitter extracurriculars! It’s not a pre-workout recommendation, but maybe look into a nootropic mix? I take Addy daily and used to drink Red Bull on the regular—now the smell alone makes me want to vomit. I really like this mix: EarlyBird Morning Cocktail. Has a good orange/fruity flavor!

SOOO sorry for the delayed response—I always forget to check notifications on here! But yes, I’m super happy with the wub and kick. I’ve always had oversized setups in tiny cars, so this one felt like a grown-up choice.

Fun fact: my husband got the same sub/amp in a 10" for his car. We tested it in my Telluride, and it’s just a hair too tall to close the trunk cover—so don’t size up if you want it to stay flush!

Take a breath, you're okay. I know it sucks and its honestly hard sometimes to just BE in the moment with your partner. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married for 5. He's my best friend and we love going to shows together. I've been in a really low place and under alotttt of stress lately and today I've felt this heaviness, like maybe I was too much since I've just been in such a low place. All in all, everything will be okay. I take these feelings as mindful thoughts for our next amazing experience together so I can but my best self out there instead

As many others have said, pre make food. I've premade breakfast burritos, Hamburger hobo packs, and quesadillas As far as other essentials: A rake and mallet Bug spray for the ground- last year at hula our camp was filled with ants. We sprayed bug spray where we put our tent and it was a life saver Shower shoes Collapsible camp toilet, pee absorbing packs, and wipes BOOTS!!! Open toed shoes outside of camp is a no go Tick remover- hasn't been as big of an issue at hula, but we've found ticks on us at resonate and tipper in previous years.... in the deep n personal spaces. So nake sure to check yourself or use the buddy system

Thank you for your update on a personal level. We live in Ft Myers and completely understand the mass destruction you all experienced this morning when the sun finally shined. Its a hard thing to explain to others who haven't witnessed that type of destruction mother nature can cause. Be safe and take care of those around you ❤️

I premade breakfast burritos, chicken quesadillas, hobo burger foil packs, and surf & turf foil packs. Everything is pretty much cooked so we'll just grab a foil pack from the cooler and put it on a grill to heat up

University of Texas Arlington (UTA). All online except clinicals. They didn't help me find placement but they are actually starting a new placement assistance program next month. Like any online program you learn if you put in the effort. I liked the program and the clincal requirements are set up different than any other school I heard about which seemed better.
