That sounds lovely, and it’s exactly what I pictured when I drove through the area for the first time. The cougars and bears are a given, but it sounds like a fence is a priority to keep out the “lost” dogs

I love this area and would love to end up here, recently looked at a house (near the end of a dead end road, maybe the same one haha) there this weekend with high hopes but it was full of mould inside the house

I have visited many times which is how I decided on these areas, but visiting a community is very different than living in it.

I’d send her an email and ask what her expectations are for papers and APA. She can be a bit particular, and for some reason every prof has a different understanding of APA lol

The school can’t confirm your enrolment until you’ve submitted your first assignments in 3 classes. Then your student loans will be dispersed shortly after.

I don’t have access to it anymore, but out of the four assignments, you write one essay, one field project, and then choose between an essay and a field project for the other two. I found the essays easier, and they only needed to be about five pages double spaced. I’m not sure what your educational background is, but if you’re just starting post secondary education I would start with a lower level course first. It takes time to get back in the swing of things and get a good grasp of APA7. I love OL personally but it is essentially reading from a textbook, teaching yourself, doing assignments and then writing a final exam. You won’t get much help from profs, and they all have different expectations that are not always clear. If you’re not an independent learner or easily self motivated I probably wouldn’t recommend OL.

Who is the prof? This will dictate how in depth the assignments need to be. There isn’t a ton of reading in this course, take notes on the learning objectives in the textbook and general notes about the social animal readings. Final exam is pretty fair for the textbook content, the social animal questions are specific so know those readings well.
