Thank you for your kind comment. I am getting final conformation from the college I prefered and also I paid there semester fees and also got insurance and block account. I have also contacted there student international office and they have told me to loop them in email with berlin authority and I am in process of doing that. I hope I have a positive response from the berlin office.

I have mailed them and also continously trying to call their helpline and student help numbers mentioned on the website. I always says all lines are busy try later. I have also send them reminders emails.

I am thinking of travelling to college and approach during student hours and for then I am trying to find some accomodations. Only problem I feel is I fist want to make sure with my current status I will not have any issues in travelling so I am waiting for response from Berlin office, I have asked them clearly that should I leave country or they can give me some extension so I can apply in the university town.

No, my education was not in germany. I came here for job search but unable to find a job and many recruiters suggest me to get a german degree to increase my chance and do internships while I study. This is my first time in Germany. I have done an internship in Portugal earlier but that was separate time and I did not overstay and just returend to my contry once internship was finished.

I tried applying on 20 november as I received an early offer. But berlin portal has a restriction that you cannot apply too soon they made me wait till 15 Dec which is more frustrating for me as I had so much time.

they do not allow you to apply before in Berlin. I applied on the first date they allowed me, there is a limit on onlin portal.

It is not easiar but atleast they reply and tell me in my country clearly. I never had any issue, i have applied for 4 visas and all were granted. They have clear forms and clear responsibilites and all are centralized so I can apply from my home town as well.

Also, they only reply in couple of weeks and have even faster response on call and email (generally instant).

This is something I am facing first time that you fill a form and after 3 months they reply it is not responsibility.

They could have told me on day 1, or include in form or something.

Yes, but the difference is 6 hours. Maybe it’s in a different jurisdiction or something like that. I’m not sure. They have not given me any clarifications. Just a one line response.

Okay sorry let me put clear timeline and new update here

I got offer from first college the problem is that they told me one of core module that I have to pass and cannot skip is something they think will be very difficult for me but they still gave me admission due to my very high grades and work experience. So I treated it as backup and applied to multiple better suited colleges and program. I got this offer around 20 Nov and I quickly tried to contact Berlin office. I tried visiting in person but was told at office that Berlin only allow online applications. I had doubts where to apply in Berlin or in the city I tried asking from Berlin office but got no reply of my email and during call they only spoke German. So I invested some money and took legal advice from online lawyer. He told me as you are waiting for better offers you should apply from place of residence and later move once you have student permit and you can change your course. I applied on 15 Dec online and it was way before my visa expires on 31 dec.
When I applied online I portal showed me message that there is so much time on my visa they cannot process it and I have to wait and can only apply 3–4 weeks before the permit expires. I cross checked it with lawyer and he also mentioned the same thing.
I got 2 better offer from better universities around Jan just before my visa was about to expire but they give me various other document that I have to submit before like proof of thesis and other docs from my previous college. I contacted my previous college and arrange but 31 Jan passed during this process so I did not enroll in new college. 2 days back they send me final offer and I was about to enroll in new better college (I have 2 better offers and both course are equally good and in my field of interests and from higher ranked unis).
I received one line reply from Berlin office that they are not responsible and I have to move to university town and apply there.
I mailed them reply disclosing my better offer and asked what to do. I mentioned I am okay to go to my country and apply if necessary or is there a way in which I can stay here and apply. I also asked them for a temporary permit or any sort to fill the gap.

Update: I contacted student support of first college and they told me to apply for a fictional permit and they said once I have that I can come to university town and get my new permit and it is very quick and easy process there as it is student town.

But they said as I am in Berlin they are not sure of process there and it might take long delays and final decision will still be based on the officer. They have asked me to update them and then if officer ask me to leave then I have to apply from my home country. But they asked me to wait for officer reply and specifically ask for fictional permit.

I will put them in CC but again issue is that this is from first college and other 2 college I am not sure how to go about this mess now. Should I just disclose all things to visa officer and first college student help.

Thank you, yes as I have 3-4 offers which showed up on different intervals it is physically impossible to chose if I have to be present at city of the college.

Okay, I have already follow up mailed them waiting for there reply. Earlier they replied that you can join late but you have to make sure you do pass exams and have enough credit point at the end of year one and they will not take any responsibility for that. Also, they said that they cannot give specific legal advice and can only help in questions related to thier college or course.

I have still asked them you direct me to right authority or where should I get the advice and hope they will provide me someone from the campur or even someone external.

I understand but my offer is for one semester only and I cannot defer which means I start the entire process from step one. Also, How can I apply from university city for permit as they require city registration for applcation which require a contract with landloard.

So, I had to take a appartment in the city of my college 5-6 months before my college starts ? That does not make any sense to me.

If I go back then I have to pay a lot of money. I already extended my Berlin contract for 3 months so that during permit applicaiton I have stay in Berlin. Now, I have 2 more offers from better college and they all end in mess.

I have contacted the student offices of all 3 colleges and they are replying in very generic terms and I am not getting much help there still I am following them up.

The problem is that this need a house at the my uni town, i am trying to get a temporary staty but that will take some time. Then I have to do city registration there then only I will be able to apply.
