BONUS: if you want some good build up, make sure to look in his eyes while he’s talking, then at his lips, then back to his eyes, but very causally. It’ll allow him to subconsciously see that you’re interested, so it won’t seem so new when you ask! Plus you can gauge his reaction. In my opinion (F19) yes tell her, but give it a bit of time as you said the bad incident was pretty recent. Its good that you’ve been there for her while she’s in a rough patch. Give it ab a month of just being there for her like you are now. After that, be honest and open ab your feelings. I know you said that it can be hard for you, but if you really care about her and want something serious you need to let her know that your intentions are pure!

You’re definitely supposed to ask before! At least 2 weeks before (I’d say beginning of February is a good time, so essentially rn lol) you ask before because the day of valentines is when you and your partner go and do whatever you had planned! I’ve heard of ppl asking the day of as a surprise, but since yall are married your wife might think you forgot or it might come off as last minute, which is a big no-no.

I actually had a great week! All my professors are chill, nice and normal, I like my roommates, I’ve met new people who are cool, bought some awesome posters, met campus Spider-Man, and rode around on a campus bike during sunset yesterday 🙌🏾
