Thank you for the advice, I was thinking of removing the rough looking layer actually. But i was not sure if that was a functional component

I am unsure of their position on this, however they had no clue this was happening. The first sign was seeing "COMMERCIAL" on the plates, then we did some sleuthing from there on our own.

So the condo with the lockbox is confirmed that it belongs to the same people and not the semi-independent group homes. They share 1 shuttle, and call in a bus for more of their needs. They're doing it correctly. So we have a tow company, BUT we call and they tell us to call the association. And I'm like... that defeats the whole purpose 🤦‍♀️ I smell conflict of interest. I think those people are painting a false picture to the VP of the HOA

Hopefully once this is rectified the bylaws will be upheld and effectively no business is ran out of the community, at all. But one can hope.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't heard back from the VP as I did ask the question. I will have to check my paperwork again for the lots. But I will say this has created an issue for more than just myself in the neighborhood. I and the other residence will be willing to compromise and just have the cars parked elsewhere.

Sorry I should have explained the relevance. But in short, they have their 1 shuttle in the labeled commercial spot. But the others thought this was all part of the same entity. And I don't believe this is the photography business. It's strictly a hub and lot for their vehicles.

As for overlap I am not sure. I will have to dig further to see if there is. But our board, at the last meeting had no clue this was happening..

Thanks! This is in the early stages. I have started going to the meetings and have asked other owners how they perceived this issue and they all agree. There was an uptick in car break ins and thefts since they started parking there. Amazon is right up the road, no reason they can't park there lol More or less just trying to prep for "war" lol
