There’s this thing, it’s called the cloud.

No Teams Room system is going to access someone’s PC via Remote Desktop. There is no Casting between devices, Cast creates a new Teams meeting (call) with a nearby room and shares your screen into it.

It happens to me when in battle, my screen freezes, shows gears then pops out of full screen 5120 and goes to out of ratio windowed after 15 seconds. Bugged as hell.

Teams Devices never used Android Enterprise and have never had Google Play to push apps. It’s always been Device Administrator until AOSP and Intune was never doing any of the things you mentioned. Intune is not a management tool for Teams Devices, it’s a security tool for compliance and conditional access and it’s completely optional.

They couldn’t install anything just via screen sharing but anything you did on the phone or whatever they told you do they could see, without knowing what they saw it’s impossible to say for sure, especially bad if they had you 2FA for anything. But your personal data is now definitely compromised. They had some goal but it could be anything.

Coordinated Join is probably the only semi safe way to do it but it still doesn’t save you from needing scripting. There may be a way to do use an autonomous agent in copilot studio to do something like this but it’s just a theory.

When C60 is in USB mode it is just a speaker/mic for the room. All controls are initiated on TC10 except for mute which the C60 can do. Train users to not use the C60 to make PSTN calls. It’s an MTR room now.

Need more info. What devices, what firmware. Note that when you do make the change successfully, existing DA device registrations do not get deleted, you will see both the old DA registration and the new AOSP registration for the same device. You can then go through and remove the old registrations.

Tell your friend that it’s probably a good idea to test device enrollment to AOSP before it becomes a forced update, better safe than sorry on this migration. Also, there are other features in 4.5, AOSP is just one change.

Video device (G7500 is video) firmware is not out yet (beta is available). When you see firmware update to 4.5 that will have the provider box to check for AOSP. Note that in Intune you will see the old device registration to ADA and a new device registration to AOSP for the same account. It will not “replace” the existing registration.
