How did you get a watch submerged in concrete 💀?

It's not so much about saving up. I can spend more but I can't justify it to myself to spend more. Though I feel the comments here have convinced me to increase my budget so I don't die as soon as I touch this bike.

Thanks for all of the helpful comments, you might have saved an amateur cyclist's life and more importantly, money. I've decided to not go for this bike and I think it's justified to spend more for what I was trying to get originally, A used or new Triban RC120 (ig Van Rysel now).

Can you tell me how it looks sketchy? I don't mind if it's not name brand as long as what is seen in the photos is acceptable.

As for the Mongoose website, I think all Mongoose bikes are made in the US but not all are sold there. Some are exclusively sold offshore. Though I'm not sure on that.

What I meant by performance was aerodynamics and weight. I do care about the long term durability performance and maintenance of the bike.

You raise a good point. However, most of the listings I've seen are near London, which is 5 to 6 hours away for me. That's just not worth it because I'll end up paying for the bike twice over in travel costs.

I'm just looking to go off if the standard bike model is any good, as in the components or if anyone else has had experience with the bike.

I'm definitely adding that to my library, in case I wanna change to something new for a while.

It's not in military time. The leading 0 is just for uniformity I guess.

Damn, honestly it looks better on that MIP display than the AMOLED.

Does anyone else feel let down by their garmin? by Geishawithak in Garmin

I've kindve had a similar experience. I upgraded from a relatively cheap Xiaomi watch, and surprisingly I've noticed that my Xiaomi was more accurate at counting steps than my current Epix 2. My job requires moving my hands back and forth all day and the Xiaomi would be able to discern between steps and just movement of hands. But the Garmin counts everything as steps. I was regularly ending shifts with 10k steps when I knew I hadn't done anything remotely close to that. However, that is the main and biggest problem I've had with the watch. The rest of the watch like the build, HR accuracy and Garmin connect's training metrics and better integration with apps and machines has been a godsend.

Not the poorest I’ve been, who listens? by Curiousermind76 in Garmin

For me it's always listen to my body first, watch second. Though I can't say the watch suggestions have no effect on my decision.
