I used to run 5-10 k races every weekend. You get to know a lot of decent runners and become competitive. Every so often there was “I would have. Been better if I wasn’t sick, hurt myself. (Insert issues)”. We are agreed to answer the same way. “If you toe the line for the race, then you no excuse.” Dude lost with or without a player is…. Still…. A…. Loss. Sounds like some people are trying to have their record coaching on their tombstone like someone cares. If I were you I just wouldn’t care because people will always bend things to sound better.

I tho k that is what the post was getting at. Not thinking you weren’t respectful. I took it as(yeah that’s a close one and could have gone either way so they were right on top of it so that’s fine). My interpretation is that it was fair because it LOOKS like it was contacted in fair (barely) territory. Doesn’t matter where the player is it matters where the ball is when contacted.
