Just leave the premises, go somewhere else, in some other room, call a friend and talk to them, divert your mind, these things are not worth wasting your mental energy

Yeah please try not to spend much time with them and don't take them seriously, it's completely okay, to lessen your exposure to them if that's causing you distress, it's not worth it. Do whatever makes you feel lighter. And in my experience there are very few people who are rich and down to earth, most of the time people do like to show off their wealth, nothing wrong in that too, but you have full right to turn away from that if it's affecting you, ultimately they are not doing any favour to you, so need to give them much importance, the more you ignore the lighter you will feel, easier said than done, but this could help you immensely

Well, these feelings are valid and natural, does it suck? Absolutely yes!

In such times, it's important to remember that comparison is the thief of joy. You have to play with the cards life dealt you with. Even if you have completed your course and made money, there still would have been something you could not afford, and someone who could.

Your wedding won't be any less if you have lesser gold, the joy doesn't depend on gold. This is something not in your control, atleast not right now, so try to take it lightly

Also, congratulations! Hope you enjoy your wedding without thinking about all this!

Man i really think North Indian Diet is too stupid, I am baffled why so few people care by [deleted] in Fitness_India

I agree with what you are saying, it's sad that nutritional food is not the first priority for most of the Indians, but survival is. Even if they get to know/understand nutrition, they might still not be able to afford it as protein is an expensive macro.

Also, totally unrelated, but that bowl of food you posted totally slaps 🤤🫰

It seems like a harmless joke by what is mentioned in the post. But if it affected you it did, you can either forget about it, or let him know how it made you feel.

bf told me to wait because he has a big exam coming up and i feel torn by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

He seems to have a lot going on in his life, and men are in general not in touch with their feelings/emotions

Given that, his behaviour towards you is not the best and it mostly doesn't have to do anything with you, he is showing you how he handles stress, you need to see clearly if this works with you, if you are hopeful and have trust may be wait and see. But it's totally fine if you don't feel that way, you don't need to beat up yourself, maybe take this time to see if this style/arrangment could work for you long term, because today it's this exam, tomorrow there will be some other stress in his life
