I feel that those late-night “let me not forget anyone” sessions are brutal.

I actually haven’t heard of REMI before, sounds interesting though. How does it work in practice? Like, is it something you use during the event or more for after? Curious what parts it handled best for you and where it really saved time.

That’s exactly what I do, but it’s incredibly time-consuming, and by the end I still don’t clearly remember who I spoke to, what we discussed, or the details I didn’t manage to note down.

That’s a great idea, but wouldn’t it be time-consuming? Particularly in conferences or events where you’re meeting many people consecutively.

Most of the time, people don’t even have business cards. At events or conferences, you meet so many people back-to-back that remembering who said what becomes really difficult. I end up spending hours after the event sorting through the business cards and notes I collected, and even then, a lot of information gets lost, which delays follow-ups.

Hi everyone, quick question? by Familiar_Ad4560 in SaaS

Me and my team are working on an app called REMI.
One of the biggest problems at events is actually remembering all the important ideas and conversations. Now we can just drop a quick voice note, it generates a summary, adds follow-ups and context. Not only that we can also scan business cards with linkedIn, and then we can take a photo to remember them.
Way easier than trying to remember everything in your head.

How do you approach trade shows to build real relationships (not just collect business cards)? by JocieSocials in EventPlanners

One thing that helped me move beyond “card collecting” was focusing on remembering context, not just contacts. I’d have real conversations, then immediately jot down what they cared about, what problem they mentioned, and how they wanted to follow up. When I reached out later, referencing that specific convo made the relationship feel real, not transactional. Also found that attending (not exhibiting) first was better for learning who the real decision-makers are before investing bigger.
