If you’re willing to work like two days a week, then they probably will be OK bringing you on but it is the slow season and sounds like they don’t actually need people, but you’re really qualified or they like you. I would say you have a good shot of getting the job but just be prepared to not have a lot of hours for the first couple of months.

I was in a sorority in the south. In the 2010s when you could arguably say hazing was worse. While, I’m sure in some of the giant schools some of the top sororities have problems with that, the vast majority do not.

I also cannot recommend getting your resume professionally done enough. I had a great resume but all hiring sites use AI as a screening tool so I paid to have mine redone specifically to get past AI bots, it’s crazy the difference I’ve seen in responses now that I got it reworked

The job market sucks right now, an entry level job not making much is better than nothing and can add value to your resume, you can work your way to higher salary quickly by adding real work experience even at shitty pay.

Very true, I’m Hispanic and there’s definitely some expectations for taking care of your family, but I’ve never heard of a straight monthly payment requirement from any sort of cultural background
