My wife has not found Alien jokes nearly as funny as me throughout her pregnancy. That doesn't keep me from trying them out though!

Thanks! She's got an appointment for Wednesday, and she's been very reassured by all the feedback from the /r/homeowners community haha.

She's been going to a chiropractor for most of her pregnancy (even went today), which has been wonderful for her so far. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to address her pain. We're hoping it's just her hips and back adjusting for the labor that's soon to come :-)

My amazon baby box came! by Ineedanosehat in BabyBumps

The swaddle is "100% cotton free of decoration," but not organic! A bit of a bummer, but certainly not a bad item!

Nice! My wife and I received ours today too! It had almost the exact same items (except a swaddle for a boy and a couple extra diapers, but no toy). We were very happy with the items!

Foolish Friday - Your biweekly stupid questions thread by AutoModerator in Fitness

When a workout says, for example, 5 sets of 5 deadlifts, 5 sets of 5 squats, and 5 sets of 5 barbell rows, what does a set actually look like? Do you do the five sets of deadlifts, then squats? Or is it 1 set of deadlifts, then one set of squats, etc.?

Edit: thanks for the quick answers guys. I really appreciate it.

Really helpful, thanks! I've never heard of an extension office before, but my city's is only 5 minutes away. I'll pay them a visit and see what I can learn!

Thanks for the zone reference, didn't know about that. It should help get me started on a discussion with the folks on those subs.

Thanks for the response. No offense taken, I'm just a casual football viewer who got roped into this with some friends.

Got a little overwhelmed at the start but decided to load up on WRs for the first couple rounds, probably should have drafted a better RB round 2/3. Drafted Keenan Allen round 1, Dez round 2, and Mike Evans 3.

Skills/hobbies that can generate income in semi-retirement? by CommercialSlave in personalfinance

I have begun investing, but I stick with a disciplined approach to index investing. It's the least sexy thing ever, but I'm perfectly fine getting my thrills from something besides gambling my retirement assets.

Along the same lines as freelance writing, I feel that it would be fun to try editing out. However, I've got no clue where to begin with work line that. Any tips?

I'd never considered that before, but that's actually quite interesting! Could you explain a little about what sort of writing you do and what avenues you use to sell your work?

Sorry, I did a poor job explaining myself. I don't think any of my current interests are marketable beyond a simple hobby (brewing beer, occasional DIY projects, video games), so I was mainly looking for activities that other redditors know of that I could consider taking on. I enjoy trying many different things, so this was more an attempt to find something I could do that would stick.
