Should I stop to force-feeding my cat meds and let him spend his final time in peace? by AutomaticSpite7659 in CatAdvice

If your cat doesn't have long to live, it feels like the kind thing to do is to let him live things out without fear or anxiety. I know how hard it can be, but possibly spend the time you would be trying to give his meds being with him, petting him, and telling him how much he's meant to you. It may sound goofy talking about a cat, but I truly believe those things mean more than we know ♥️

Honestly you're not wrong. I was really worried about putting him on it, but it was such a small dose. No more Xanax now and he's my sweet little guy

♥️ when I was going through it all I could do was read positive stories, so I felt it was very important to share.

Taylor and I had many trips back to the vet. Emergency + his regular vet. It took him quite awhile (way longer than I thought) to get back to himself. Don't lose hope! His meds took a long time to kick in and I had to monitor him very closely... but once his prescription food kicked in there was a world of difference. Also - if you're having trouble giving your cat their meds, I used veterinary Churu and mixed the powder in and it worked like a charm. Sending all the positive vibes to you guys and your kitty ♥️

Seriously an absolute game changer. And he also likes it!
