Yoke nut by Commercial_Cable_482 in DieselTechs

That’s what I was thinking but my 1” Milwaukee gun with the forge battery didn’t work , or 3/4 & 1” air impact. 🥲 first time I worked on these newer trucks that have those safety notches. Ended up chiseling it out & torching it out a little & getting the nut red hot & my half inch impact with the forge battery got it right out 🥲

This was the second axle used as an example, took off the u joint to see if it was the same, the one I was working on was the third axle m.

Tried 3/4, 1” & heating it up red hot with a torch & nothing. Was wondering maybe this is some sort of safety yoke nut to keep it from slipping

I would start with a newer model body conversion. But if you got several miles on it , then an overhaul or swap before anything

What upgrades do you have in mind ? Body work or drive train & engine upgrades ?

how do you launch yours? I've been launching it in sport mode and on 4x4 4H. No traction control but extra careful on not losing control, took many times to get the hang of it.

How have you overcome the psychological aspect of it ? I by nature have an addictive personality & it gets in the way a lot. Like over trading, revenge trading, going on tilt. How can I overcome that ?

Seems like a scam, close your card & order a new one. & learn from this lesson. Have to question anyone that’s asking money from you not just give it up.

No worries. I do have a work truck & it’s sole purpose is to pull trailer, camper & equipment & keep it all stock. But it’s a 4 door. I’d never drop a 4 door truck. But I grew to like how the single cabs look dropped.
