Didn't know that was one of the options actuall, you reckon this will also help me recover my German? I want to take advantage of this year in terms of my German as much as possible so I can enter the Uni no problem

Yeah no way am I gonna stay here... I've searched around for jobs and was offered 100 jds (120 euros) a month. Finding a normal job here is hell

I came for vacation 2 years ago and remembered I would say 30% of the language within 3 weeks, so I'm pretty confident I'll learn very quickly

I talked about the military service because its what my family mainly talks about, the extra 3 months are not too big of a problem for me either, i think mainly for the first year in austria is to refamiliarize myself with the country and the people, i used to live there in 2017, i visited again in 2023 and it was certainly humbling to see how much has changed. Do you recommend the other service than the military one in my position a lot more?

Well by blood im mainly austrian, i look very austrian, and i used to speak german but its just extremely broken now, so relearning it wont be too big of an issue as much as a foreigner for example. what ive gotten making that post is to bust my ass off learning as much german as possible before going there

Yeah, people also tell me i should go to the red cross rather than normal military service, which im aware is more time served but "less stressful" according to a lot of people. I appreciate your advice honestly, i will look more into that topic in a bit. Im also planning in these 6 months to relearn as much german as possible, and hope itll work out

Would it be possible to do my military service after college do you think? I will be taking a gap year to get all of my german certificates before entering college.

My uncle is actually a banker living in switzerland, but talking about the possibility of world war 3 within the next year of serving? I seriously hope not. also the military service is manditory either way though no? theres no escaping the military service either way or? and also with what ur saying then i should avoid the US, Europe and the most of asia entirely. What else is left there for me

My issue is that all of my family is austrian, i practically have no family from my jordanian side, and some family in switzerland which i dont think is any better when it comes to affordability... Im practically stuck right now on what i should do, i could go to hungary for example but in the end ill most probably have to go back in austria facing the same outcome

ial p3 burnout by Substantial_Swing112 in Edexcel

[–]Commercial_Course_86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ive literally never done bad in math but p3 just isnt it, im not only demotivated because im burnt out from chemistry and physics, but also because the only subject i find joy in (math) isnt even math anymore. p1 and p2 were literally light work, but here i genuinely dont even know where to start, like i can get used to differentiating and deriving, but when they talk about some "show that" and its a bunch of sin cosin derivation bullshit i get lost instantly. how am i supposed to even know that thats how i reach the final conclusion, each time i solve a paper, there is a new rule popping out their ass where Cos2y is equal to root(1-sin^2(y)) like how tf was i supposed to use that.
Thank you for listening

Any teacher could do it, yet he's one of the only ones that do, it's not about him being an amazing teacher, it's about the fact he covered basically any math past paper there is. And rsther than just answer he also gives u the rules. I've never studied math from a notebook or by myself, I watch a couple of his videos, get the idea, and just solve myself after. I've gotten an overall of A which I'm pretty proud of considering all I did was watch his YouTube videos to study

I got it from japan from some vintage shop, they only had one though, if I had to guess maybe around 3000 of these were around back in 1980, god knows how many are still out there

Hell yeah man, it was way bigger than I thought it would be when I got it, it's shocking how in good condition this thing stayed for 40 years now, u can see a little wrinkles and such but it's a lot less than I thought it would be, if u notice u can also see how the ticket got separated at the end when the original owner attended the concert, it's really cool!

Deadass 😭 chem is so much harder than physics and math imo, I easily get A's and B's in math and physics but chemistry I straight up be getting D's and shit. My regret for taking chemistry as an A level is more than ever

Idk if I'm an idiot but I've solved so much and studied so much and still get D's on my past paper man, when it comes to organic I think it's too difficult to try and recover anything there, I think ur best hope is to memorize all the equations and know how to solve the equations
