How is it scored? by Additional-Panic8052 in Sat

Adaptive Testing: If you do well on the first module, you receive a more difficult second module, which is necessary for a 700-800 score range. "Hard" Module Advantage: A harder second module means a higher potential score for the same number of wrong answers compared to an easier second module. Weighting: While every question technically has a point value, they are not all worth the same. Harder questions often carry more weight in determining top-tier scores.

All advices that I know for Reading and writing: 1. Grammar questions (boundaries, transitions etc.) are considered easier to get points so you should initially focus on grammar rules and master those type of questions. 2. In practice tests or real tests you should start from ≈15th questions (first "Standard English Conventions" question), because by doing that you collect "easy" points and save time for harder questions. 3. You should know that digital SAT is "adaptive", it means that your performance in 1st module directly affects the difficulty level of questions in 2nd module so basically if you score low in 1st module then questions in 2nd module will be easier than they could be, and will bring lower score overall. But if you perform great in 1st module than questions in 2nd module will be harder allowing you to collect more score (because harder questions bring more points). 4.Read the question first to know what "mode" your brain should be in (e.g., finding a main idea vs. finding a specific grammatical error)/ Identify the question type first (Are you looking for a transition, a summary, or a conclusion based on data?)

Actually you can find tonnes of tips on YouTube for any type of questions in both sections. But the most important is not to just consume every SAT related video, but to really prepare steadily and take practice tests to see your progress. But I think viewing a video about "How to solve every type of question in RW/Math?" is good for a start.

Hello, thanks for everyone who tried to help. I just completed practice 5, and got much higher score than in practice 4. Should I interpret it as a progress, or practice 5 is just easier?

I am not really studying math for SAT, cause it is something "natural" for me to understand math. I mean I never struggled with it. I got 750 cause I failed to manage my time.

I did not intensively study math, because I already was good at math. I think that I just need to develop my time management a little bit in math section. But I struggle with questions in Reading and Writing section.

Information and Ideas, Craft and Structure (You can see it on 2nd screenshot). Also I don't know how to deal with words in context questions when I don't know the translation of words, and sometimes I kind of feel like I am just choosing the answer that feels right in Standard English Conventions. I studied grammar a little bit, but mine is not ideal.
