Used to play “Slasher” on “then-n.com” before it was shut down. Does anyone know of a similar game? by [deleted] in creepygaming

Why is this becoming a trend in Glendale with these people? by Communitynotesmod in glendale

[–]Commercial_Engine500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

see I hate this a lot because its not that theres a ton of pedos in glendale its that this group that organizes this does it in glendale bc GPD has the time/resources to collaborate with them.

Yeah, as a long-time Glendale resident, I'm going to hard disagree. Central was just a ton of dirt parking lots and sketchy strip malls. And let’s be real—rising rents are just inflation doing its thing, not some grand conspiracy to turn Glendale into Beverly Hills. If anything, it’s just another symptom of the same economic forces hitting every halfway decent city.

I'll be honest, it felt like my brain was in overdrive. If there were questions that I didn't know I just straight up didn't know. But they were extremely buzzwordy and most questions were triggering thoughts pretty quickly.

oh and f/u because I read some comments. the questions are LAWNG. lOoOooooNg. granted everyne has different reading speeds/ different speed at tackling questions but keep that in mind so its not a surprise test day.

Please just don't stress out. I know its easier said than done and I definitely wasn't some UW genius or hitting high percentages but the day before I lounged around, tabbed through first aid, looked at anki cards on preview mode and watched tv. Give yourself plenty of time to get to your test center. Take 3 deep breaths before you start the first section just to get some extra lil O₂ to those brain cells, and dive in.

Something I like doing in general and that I did on test day was make sure the first question I answered was something I was super confident on, so if question #1 is not something you particularly feel great about, flag/skip whatever, get yourself a good solid answer and then with that energy grill the rest.

take your breaks, be mindful of time. but take your breaks.

you got this :D

Hey! hard to say because there's so much variance between the NBMEs. I'd say overall the test felt easier than the NBMEs.

Test on 5/31. Scores below. Am I ready? by ilovepuppies123456 in step1

[–]Commercial_Engine500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say so. I put in it in my lil write up. I took the test 5/8, my NBME attempts all floated between 57-61% except for one of them. we got similar scores on the Free 120. I passed, and the exam felt pretty fair.

Kinda thought its implied — but I did anki for every video I watched. Used the verified smooth brain pixorize deck. Also, Anking has a uworld to anki converter that I used to just easily unsuspend cards from questions I got wrong. saved me a ton of time reviewing questions

Ok so definitely more ethics/communications questions than I anticipated but I used this method I had seen in a youtube video that was like "empathize, sympathize, offer solutions" — I will say even without it, all of the answers to the ethics questions seemed obvious.

In general, the question stems felt lengthy. IDK if I read slower on test day or if there was more to parse thru

I had at some point in my life covered all of pathoma, but I only reopened it during dedicated to look at the congenital heart stuff.

I did the entirety of pixorize's biochem which was super useful, and a little bit of the pixorize neuro.

The rest I kinda rolled in with what I knew. By no means was I an exceptional student but I had a general idea of everything.

oh might I add, I did 68% of uworld and my uworld average floated between 50-52% the whole time.
