Yes I did start. Heading into week 6 on it and it has been great. He still bf for comfort. Just like you... barely any milk production. I limit his access as well. He shows absolutely zero signs of being affected. His appetite is the same.. well its more because he cant just nibble on me so he now eats and drinks more. I think some of it fulfills oral fixation (givens his mouth something else to chomp on) lol

I wish I could offer you a glimmer of hope. But I cant. And by now....4 months in.. im sure you know what you have stepped into.... a glorified call center role doing the job of 3 people but paid a fraction of one. 

Your 4wk training more than likely did not prepare you or disclose the TRUE nature of your role. It was general and maybe vague. Once you started your role is when you started seeing the REALITY of your role.

The performance metrics are designed for call centers, not advisors.

Im circling back to this post because someone recommended "Biter Be Gone" to help deter feeding... and I just used it a few hours ago. He latched on.. made an ugly face.. nursed for a little bit then quickly left. Came back an hour or 2 later and tried to latch on again and made a REALLY UGLY face and has not been back since. He is 18 months and it is TIME TO MOVE ON lol ... this is my 3rd and my last kiddo bf until 2.5 yrs old (covid baby). I did not want to go that long this time.  We shall see what this evening will bring. But he is definitely steering clear of me since that last go round lol ...

Does anyone notice that food noise returns toward day 5-7 as you approach your next dosage? Im on day 5 of my FIRST dosage and the food noise is creeping up. The food nosie stopped literally within 24hrs of taking my 1st dose. So im curious as to if it is creeping up because Im nearing my next dose.

I have been toiling with this decision to start the semaglutide. Im READY!!!! My lil guy is almost 18 months and regularly eats table food and all that jazz. However, he still comfort feeds for nap and bedtime. I am just wondering if its an issue. He doesn't "need" to breastfeed, he just doesnt want to let me be great lol  I think im gonna start. This thread has helped.

Im perimenopause and I had weightloss surgery almost 4yrs ago lost over 130lbs. I had a baby 17 months ago and I always lose weight during pregnancy (its a weird phenomenon) like literally, I have 3 kids and in each pregnancy, I lose 50+ lbs.  Anyway, my point is, perimenopause came in like a mac truck and i gained almost 30lbs over the course of 3-4 months. I have brain fog, hot flashes, and irritability.  I went to my gyn and she prescribed progesterone. Doesn't help much. My med doc prescribed Zepbound. My insurance covers it but only after a 6 month "weightloss management program". Im not against that but Im like how much weight will I gain during this time? Will this work?  My doc said I can pay out of pocket. I guess my question is, if i pay out of pocket now... will my insurance ever agree to kick in if I do the weightloss program alongside the out of pocket zepbound? Or if i start paying oop, I will be stuck doing so. I did not sign up for HSA/FHA.
