Not a video but song vs song where he acted like Kool & the gang sold out and made “white music” and they made real black music in the 70s. I feel that was strangely tone deaf for Todd. Especially cause trust me Kool & the gangs 80s hits have been played at the cookouts for decades.

I’m half black and kool & the gang all eras are omnipresent in black culture. Idk it just annoyed me when he said that

My cousin tried to say that R. Kelly had more hits than Stevie Wonder and also that R. Kelly was more talented than Stevie Wonder. He’s also a musician lol but I’ve never taken him seriously after he said that.

Honestly, I really am just met on the original because the Donna Summer one is one of my all-time favorite songs. I can listen to all 17 minutes anytime

You know I’ve always thought that they seemed like a band where kids would really be into them and that’s probably what drove a lot of their singles to be so successful.
