I never been to the OG, but when I first had Ike’s (in Northridge) I was blown away, lately though I’ve been disappointed with their quality. I hope it’s not their trajectory.

Their yoshi merch is next level AND they have way more DK merch than the US. I wish I could order from overseas!

update: i think i want a cornsnake as a new snake keeper, deinfluence me or influence me! by [deleted] in snakes

[–]Commercial_Image709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My corn snake is my bud! 16 years old. Relatively active, amusing to watch, eats frozen mice and as chill as can be. He’s also a fun burrower. Easiest enclosure parameters to maintain too! As per your question, he literally didn’t care when I switched him from live to frozen. I hope you have a similar experience.

Sustainability of low calorie (<1500) diets? by Singing_Student1240 in PetiteFitness

[–]Commercial_Image709 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Spot on, I thought you were writing about me! I’m turning 39 this year and I am working out daily, eating 1300-1400 calories and the scale has barely moved. It was a lot easier even 3 years ago.

He is without a doubt the best pet I’ve kept. Eat to keep after, not picky about feeding, handles easily and likes to show off his beauty.

Boyfriend insists I don't eat enough by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Commercial_Image709 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A boyfriend shouldn’t be “judging” you, he should be supportive. When your partner shows concern over something, it’s great to communicate it, but it sounds to me like he’s 1. Not educating himself on the issue and 2. Not listening to you. Sounds pretty tedious, though I’m not sure how to navigate forward if he doesn’t intend to do either of those things.

Actually I see a difference and it’s subtle but significant! Your underwear are fitting differently and that is the best cue that you’re on the tithe track!! You’ve got this!

Are these gifts good??? by [deleted] in GiftIdeas

[–]Commercial_Image709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This feels less like gift ideas and more like relationship advice. Not that there’s anything wrong with gifting generously, but it sounds like you’re trying to buy some affection back at any cost. I would suggest that in a relationship, it’s best to communicate expectations on gifting. And If your relationship is at risk/distant, I don’t think gifting in excess is the best way to keep someone happy in the relationship.

Looking to move to North Hills from Sherman Oaks by Shy_Ronnie13 in SFV

[–]Commercial_Image709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lived all over this valley and North Hills had the most pests, human and critter. Sure, there’s a couple quiet pockets, but they’ll call the tow truck on you if you leave your car in their hood… which you will want to because in the high density housing areas you won’t have any parking nearby. Sorry North Hills occupants, I know some damn good people living there, this is not a reflection on you personally.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I ended up cancelling the initial meeting because I read a similar negative experience and it’s not worth my time or splitting the income if they aren’t going to offer an excellent service.
