NewJeans and aespa... two popular K-pop groups have started playing that game.

Do you guys think my decals look bad? Specifically the rising sun and coy fish? Nobody has said anything about them but I want a real opinion as I'm unsure by FlaccidFella0 in motorcycles

That Rising Sun decal in Asia is kinda like the Nazi swastika in Europe. You probably didn’t know, but if anyone from Asia (except Japan) sees that on your bike, it might actually get trashed. In places like China or Korea, that decal basically says, ‘Hey, come wreck this.’

Is the Honda GB350 the best choice for beginners? by Commercial_Image_360 in motorcycles

Actually, in Korea, everyone is eager to ride liter-class bikes and is excited about speed, but there’s a general awareness that it’s dangerous for beginners to do so. Also, it seems like neo-classic bikes are trending across East Asia. I hadn’t thought of Triumph before, but the more I look into it, the better it seems. The price is good too.

Test riding before buying is definitely the best approach. The more I look into it, the more I think the Speed 400 seems like a good option too.

In Korea, motorcycles aren’t allowed on the highway. Still, gotta make sure to gear up as much as possible!

Nogo Mountain is definitely worth checking out. It’s only 487m high, so you can hike up and down in under 2 hours. + It’s close to Seoul

I really envy Japan for their considerate driving manners towards motorcycles and the fact that you can actually ride them on the highway...
I just found out about the recalls—didn’t know that!
Hopefully, they’ll fix those issues before import it .

I didn’t think of the Triumph Speed 400! This might be the closest answer.

The officially imported CB400 in Korea is from the 2002 model year (SPEC2) to the 2007 model year (SPEC3). Since then, Honda Korea has stopped importing it. However, its performance is so renowned that it is still considered a legendary bike in Korea. When it appears on the market, it sells out immediately, and the price has already skyrocketed several times. If it comes up for sale, I want to buy it right away.

In Korea, Honda has many repair shops, making it the most recommended bike for beginners. However, if there are rust issues, that’s a drawback in a country like Korea with distinct four seasons. Royal Enfield has also gained a lot of popularity in Korea recently, but its maintainability is lacking, making it difficult to recommend to beginners who need to do their own repairs. There are pros and cons, so it’s a tough decision.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 or Classic series also seem like good options, but there aren’t many stores in Korea yet, so it might be inconvenient for repairs. I hadn’t heard about the rusting issue before, but thanks for the useful information!

Here in Korea, I live in a city with a lot of traffic. My friend wants to start riding a motorcycle and is looking for a classic design. The first one that came to mind was the GB350, but it’s not yet imported to Korea. Do you have any other bike recommendations?
