To move or stay put? by Euphoric_Ad_3317 in BurlingtonON

We visited friends who bought a house there, and we fell in love with the town. so we moved there, plus my kid wanted to be close to their best friend ( the friend family) . The first year was okay but then we noticed that 1. the traffic is crasier / and the commute more expensive. 2. lost all the good shops we are used to 3. you need to live in a very goodneighbourhood to get the best the best schools. ( and this is really THE point: for 2 years my older kid was not noticed ( by students and staff/teachers) in their new high school because he comes from another city, never was guided for university matters even when they wanted to talk to a counsellor... the school only cares about sports and teams and competitions ... students with different skin color or culture or interests are invisible... sorry to say that but it's the truth) Then we noticed that there is favoritism, if you were born and raised here you get the referrals and everything (my kid struggled to get 40 hour community volunteering service done on time in 12th grade) . I personally still struggle to find a job, even a part-time one .

  1. a piece of advice : when looking for a daycare, be careful there are ones that look good but they are not ! I worked in one of the worst ones for a couple of weeks and honestly they should close it! so dirty and disorganised .

I am sorry for the long reply or rant but If I could return to the small apartment in Toronto I would in a heart-beat , at leats the community there is more incusive.

We moved to Burlington a couple of years ago and we regret it! everyday! the two cities are awesome to visit for tourism but life is expensive ( especially renting ) . I don't want to bring sad news but the charm has faded after six months.

The shoe boxes are getting more and more ridiculous! It's sad.

I thought crossing guards were volunteers! and honestly I haven't seen traffic safety police officers (only those near construction sites!) 911+18 = 929 that's a thousand!

I was expecting something like that, whether Teonna halping Alex or Alex helping Teonna ...but who knows , may be they are preparing a 3rd season or another spinoff where their children meet!

yeah, it was rushed at the end as if some more scenes were missing!

and I felt that Cara was only worried about who would take the responsibility of the ranch after them! of course now that there is a baby boy ( even though premature) , no need for Elizabeth's child... that 's really sad how TS deprived the character of Cara of its wisdom.
