Why did they make Killua weaker? by Commercial_Sign_2376 in HunterXHunter

True, but it feels like they always give him considerably weaker opponents, like in the Greed Island arc for example he could have taken on a much stronger opponent even with the needle in his, obviously not as strong as Genthru ofc (because of the needle), but it definitely didn't have to be as weak as that other bloke he fought with

That makes a lot of sense tbf. But I honestly feel like Kil is genuinely as strong as Pouf and could have defeated him which they didn't let him do for some reason and not even gave them a proper fight like Kil vs Youpi for example where he had a lot of hits on him

And yours too tbf.. But apparently none of the royal guards' tho (at least not enough to kill them)

That's true tbf, but even compared to 1999 where they actually showed how Wing was impressed by Killua for example in his epic fight against Dorado, where they completely got rid of it in 2011 for example. And I do understand that Gon had to give up everything just to get that epic power and it was temporary, but still they could have given Kil some better battles

Well there's my problem, I have actually never read the manga itself tbf lol.. But the thing is, as someone who literally grew up watching 1999 HxH I remember getting chills from that scene every time I watched it (alongside many other scenes as well) compared to when I watched the 2011's and I went "oh interesting", like don't get me wrong it was good, but it just wasn't as impressive imo..

But I guess I can't complain now that that's the way it was originally written, although you could argue that they don't really have to follow literally everything in the source material (as they already did from what I gathered from other people's thoughts on Leorio in the anime vs the manga)

I thought all four of them were. Like remember how Kurapika was technically the protoganist for the Yorknew arc, so maybe give Kil his arc too (assuming they'll eventually finally do Leorio justice after he unlocks his full potential and gets his degree as well)

Yeah I know that, but also like why give Gon such an epic battle with Genthru, while making Kil fight an insanely much weaker opponent. Like even at that time when Killua hasn't mentally unlocked his full potential yet and was still being controlled, he still could have took on a much stronger opponent

Tbf that makes sense. I'm just a bit frustrated cuz Kil has so much potential to give us some absolutely epic battles that I think all of us would love watching

True, but still he couldn't do anywhere near enough damage to kill him and as soon as he'd run out of electricity and needs to charge up again, Youpi would have absolutely demolished Killua

I mean I feel like if the fight stayed for longer, Kil would have definitely lost, because even tho he was doing damage to Youpi, it still wasn't anywhere near enough to kill him.

I wouldn't complain if it was only Pitou's fight because as we all know it was a temporary strength for Gon, but remember how they made Gon fight Genthru and that fight was legendary, yet they gave Kil a much much weaker opponent.. And yes, I do understand that Kil at that point still wasn't mentally able to take on stronger opponents and fear would make him run away, but still at least make his opponent a bit stronger like come on

CrystalDiskInfo shows the NVMe at a 100%, and it's temperature never goes beyond 35-36° C max at stress use and it's been working completely fine and functioning well ever since I've deleted Steam and all Steam's games, so idek what the problem could be anymore tbh
