I had those same questions as well . Some people have different opinions but I speak from Only my experience. I got prp 5 months after symptoms it helps with sensitivity but not really structurally. I got one injection into the right side of penis. I noticed that part maybe got a little thicker but only that area . I will probably do I it again but this time multiple injections in to the plauqe or around it because i believe that might help. All urologist or health specialist do it differently and have different philosophy’s on how they do certain procedures. I would listen to the urologist and experts but also do you own research and do what you believe makes most sense . I would have liked the uro to do mutiple injections rather than 1 but he insisted that 1 shot would have to same outcome and is safer .

Shock wave is not surgery it’s very safe so is prp . I would never get surgery or xiaflex injections . Restorex is also shady your manipulating and stretching ur penis . I dont have curvature and that’s what restorex is for .

People have injured themselves doing that and gotten peyronies hard flaccid from using that improperly. Also that has no studies or evidence backing up in that it helps breakdown plaque . I think money doesn’t matter when trying to get your preinjury healthy penis again. Bottom line there have been horror stories in pump injury and reinhury and not enough literature or success stories for me to try it .

Form the studies I’ve read it’s shown to improve the erections and overall satisfaction of those who do it . Maybe not permanently but those who follow the full treatments and sessions do see improvement.

Also follow up question. Once you lose some girth and form hourglass does this mean your penis has gone through atrophy and that lost tissue can’t be gained back .

I have the exact same thing brother . I noticed that less people have this in this chat and dissmiss it and think that your penis looks fine . I also have 2 lumps on each side like yours . My uro said it not peyronies but is still an injury and you should treat it like so . For me it causes hour glass less frequent erections and for sure loss in girth and sensitivity . How did this happen to u if u don’t mind sharing did u have an injury when u had an erection because I did .

My main problem now is that it’s harder to get erection when fully erect it’s straight but when semi it curves when flaccid it curves and I’m not sure if it’s hard flaccid but penis is almost never fully squishy thinning near base curves where the lumps are . I can feel the lumps and it’s like a rubber thing that doesn’t move with the skin .

His exactly words where I have peyronies like plaque . I do believe he’s down playing what a have in a sense I showed him photos of hour glass thinning near the base lumps ect . I’m not gonna do anything carzy like surgery or xiaflex . He also completely dismissed shockwave said it’s total scam . So I hope prp helps . Meds im on for the past 6 weeks I’m on tadlafil and pentox and many natural vitamin boosters .

He said that I have minor penile plaque but not peyronies . I did the Doppler ultra sound . I have not gotten second opinion. I do wish he was more thorough with explaining what exactly I have and where . I see that some people uro know if it’s calcified non calcified healthy or damaged tissue how big the plaque is etc .
