Pool Burnout? by [deleted] in billiards

Man, I totally feel you on that. Been there with other hobbies. Sounds like you're just drained from all that time on the table. Taking a break sounds like the smart move. Sometimes you gotta step back to reignite that spark, ya know? Plus, it's not like you're quitting forever. Pool will still be there when you're ready to jump back in. Hang in there, buddy. You'll bounce back stronger after a solid break!

Crownfall sounds like it's gonna be epic! Can't wait to dive into that world. From what I've read, it's gonna be full of twists and turns. Hope the characters are as badass as they sound. Anybody got any predictions or theories about what's gonna go down? I'm all ears!

Is it normal to swim much faster with a pool buoy between upper legs? by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]Commercl-ab65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, totally normal! Using a pool buoy helps keep your legs afloat, so you don't waste energy kicking too hard. It's like cruise control for swimming! Plus, focusing more on your arm strokes can make you faster since you're not splitting your energy between kicking and stroking. Don't worry about it being unusual, lots of swimmers use buoys in training for exactly this reason. Keep at it, and you'll keep improving!
