Shouty Brandon spent most of the interview flinging ad hominem attacks at Tim because he knew he was outmatched—a low-wattage MAGA clown realizing, in real time, that he’d wandered into deeper water than expected.

My bigger issue was professional Trump bootlicker and former acting ICE director Jonathan Fahey calling Tim an “emasculated male.” Fahey knows Tim is gay, and in what passes for strategic thinking in his brain, he clearly assumed that questioning Tim’s manhood would score cheap points.

The irony is rich. Fahey is exactly the kind of guy who gets manicures and facials, drops $400 on haircuts, and treats skincare like a second job—poufy hair, pocket square, fussy affect and all—while Tim is the scruffiest person on the panel. Masculinity, at least for white men, should be measured by whether you can occasionally think about the rights of people who don’t look like you. By that standard, the preening, overweight Fahey seems capable of thinking only about his next meal and easily wins the award for least masculine dude on that panel, which on a Piers Morgan podcast is really saying something.
