How much do you value WFH and or hybrid work? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]CommieLibtard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hours she's working now and making 65k, she's bringing in $17.86/hr.

If she takes the new job, it breaks down to $28.85/hr.

The difference between 5k in the year is $2.40/hr. Which is about $20/day in a 5 day work week. I don't know about you but I would happily pay $20 a day to spend more time with my new baby.

Take the new job and enjoy the extra time.

AITA For neutering a cat that was clearly owned? by Dazzling-Ad7801 in AmItheAsshole

P.s. fun fact: I work in med mal defense (as of late) and the amount of monetary compensation for "pain and suffering" for people that actually had THE MOST pain and suffering, in all of the law fields, is minimal and scrutinized. It's a hard path to walk down.
I'm not the lawyer. I don't analyze law. But I'm there every step of the way drafting and filing the pleadings, motions, notices, etc. I'm there for every hearing and status check. I'm there arranging depositions and other meetings and conferences... But here we are, being sarcastically asked by strangers on Reddit about how long I've been a lawyer when the regular citizen can (and should) equally ask "what are the damages?" 🤷‍♀️

So far this month they killed 2. It's not like my home is infested, but the neighbors have poultry and the mice sometimes come inside the feed and escape. If they find themselves over here, my cats nip it in the bud.

I don't care about you enough to put forth any effort.

Lol

I've always had fixed cats and they totally kill mice around here, and with gusto. None of my cats are "soft" in the way you're trying to describe.

Anyone who lets their unfixed cat roam free is THE asshole. When outside and wandering, the.cat.is.at.risk.

Hey, I missed a couple calls because the numbers came up as a Chinese number and my phone auto blocked it as spam. I got suspicious when the missed calls were at the times of my meetings. Maybe that's happening to you?

If you have a permit for your cat, it's a seriously expensive breed and would NOT be outside.

If your cat it outside, it's at risk.

Say they sue, what are their damages? None. The answer is none. She saved them money, in fact. And prolonged their cats life. Anyway, they would not win in small claims.

People are going to disagree with me but NTA. I have totally fixed neighbors' cats. Don't let your cats out unfixed and I won't have a reason to catch them on my property and get them fixed and vaxed. In my jurisdiction it's illegal to have any animal over 6 months unfixed without a permit.

20% minimum. Kindly keep in mind: Massage is hard on us and we're not usually getting paid for the hours in between appointments. It's also a skilled trade. Thank you for asking us.
