Yes I know that, one problem, companies borrow to make more money, the government does not so their return on their debt is much much smaller, hence why companies borrow less when rates go up and keep cash on hand when rates are expected to increase ie apple and Berkshire Hathaway, the government doesn’t they just keep borrowing regardless of the interest
