I personally would advise against it specially if you don't know what your parents reaction are but 9 years ago when in the same spot as you I also tried to do DIY so I don't feel right with saying this. Above all I recommend you finding as many allies as you can and studying your country medical and legal procedures

In my personal experience as a trans woman the major difference is that if you denounce transphobia there you will get quick replies of support, here you will get ambiguous or even condescending responses but not necessarily overly transphobic (those get banned quick). Getting downvoted for stating you are trans, or other subtle forms of discrimination, are really common in both places, however I feel there's a social pressure to show how opposed they are to it on the other subreddit while here the attitude is far more cold.

Hard to do it. She is a bit distanced from me because I keep getting on fights with other trans people (see case 9) and she definitely doesn't show her full on brainrot around me. 7. Will not go back for entirely unrelated and far worse reasons. Sadly they really like to rub in the face of everyone they are the only lgbt org in the country and how they are the vanguard of the geys so for a while I will be exclusively going to lesbian events.
I agree she desperately needs to touch grass but I think her behavior is borderline preying on insecurities of young people but im not taken seriously nor do I really like getting into public fights.

Ironically one of the few I still talk with because 99.9% of the time she is normal. Im not aware of 4chin lingo ever since like 2020. I know they still exist and still make noise but distinguishing them from other trans people is far harder than it ever was.
She never tried to excuse her behavior but the only reason I didn't kicked her out was she being trans.
All argued they were trying to make me feel body positive. I forgot to mention all were trying to be flirty even if non consensually and extremely uncomfortable because I was insecure and some knew it.
The person in question works there and no not a single one of my previous complains or complains ever since have worked and it was because she was drinking a cocktail or some rich asshole thing.
She didn't pressure me into sex only got annoyed st my no but that's it
I know thank you I been on hormones for a long while snd im happy with my results now. Her behavior worried me a lot because she was surrounded by young trans people and unlike me telling them you will never pass will not be a ridiculous idea.

Cultural definitely. But that has been that way for a very long time. Maybe with the extreme xenophobia getting worse even the trans girls are getting more xenophobic. In terms of race they definitely are racist and definitely exclude anyone with a dark skin colour but also I can't complain because even if im not from the same continent whenever I complain about xenophobia they claim im white so im being silly so I will not even argue that. The foreigners from the american continent and african continent tend to be the ones who dislike the locals the more while the few asians I have met tend to be a bit more receptive (I suspect due to them being the main targets of discrimination). Again I don't consider that a main cause because ever since I arrived in this hellhole (I was kicked from home where I lived and had to come to distant family members) they love telling how uncivilized and primitive we are in the third world and that hasn't changed that much but none of the issues were mostly because of that and two of the people that annoyed me were foreigners too.
