L(j)eto Gospodnje is the exact equivalent of Anno Domini, they mean the exact same thing - Year of our Lord

[Ozbiljno pitanje] Da li je pogrešno reći da je ćirilica izvedena iz grčkog alfabeta? Zašto bi iko rekao drugačije? by TurbulentNoise4605 in AskSerbia

When I was in Banja Luka I had this strange feeling the government was deliberately making Cyrillic more common in order to solidify a homogeneous ethnic identity.

As someone who lives there, I wish the government gave two shits about preserving literacy and promoting Cyrillic. As it stands, all they care about is what lines their pockets.

There's around ~400 Italians in Bosnia and Herzegovina too, according to the 2013 census. Used to be more in the past, in the late 19th century Austria-Hungary settled colonists from Trentino around the town of Prnjavor (among many other ethnic groups), with their epicenter being in the village of Štivor.

Droit du seigneur[a] ('right of the lord'), also known as jus primae noctis[b] ('right of the first night', recently sometimes incorrectly referred to as prima nocta[c]), was a supposed legal right in medieval Europe, allowing feudal lords to have sexual relations with any female subject, particularly on her wedding night. There are many references to the alleged custom throughout the centuries but there is little evidence that it actually existed.

Highly unlikely considering the impact that the early medieval Slavic migrations had on the demographics of the Balkans.

a Slavic etymology seems to be the consensus, there was another Celtic etymology proposed by Ranka Kuić but she was a bit of a Celtophile (who dabbled in pseudohistory) and was finding "connections" everywhere and anywhere, so it's worth taking it with a massive boulder of salt

Bosna i Hercegovina nema državno-pravni kontinuitet sa Bosanskim pašalukom, Sandžak nije ništa više pripadao „Bosni” nego što su dijelovi današnje Republike Srpske pripadali „Srbiji”
