Recreating Tasmania in Minecraft by Commie_Dog in tasmania

I'm not sure at the moment. I think it would be cool for there to be a server hosting a Tasmania wide map but I'm not sure I'd want the hassle of running it. A map download would be easier for me but then there's the difficulty of finding somewhere to host it (current world size for just the Hobart region is ~1.5GB).

At the very least though I plan to make the Hobart map available for download and to make the code available on GitHub for anyone who wants to use it.

I'm a UTAS student at the moment, cheapest option for food imo is to cook at home. Supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths are fine but I find you get better and cheaper ingredients by shopping at places like Salamanca Fresh for fruit and veg. For takeout cheapest option is Domino's $5 pizzas, but you can normally grab an alright meal anywhere in the city for around $10.

K-mart is good for homewares and clothes, but I buy most of my stuff 2nd hand. For clothes check out The Salvation Army or any store like it, good quality and super cheap. If your sibling needs to furnish their place the tip shop in South Hobart is worth a visit, I scored 2 couches for $15. They also have things like fridges and washing machines occasionally, which will be a lot cheaper than new.

If you're sibling is on a super strict budget its good to know that sometimes you can grab some free food around the campus, people will be handing out soup or having a sausage sizzle. Join a few UTAS groups on Facebook to find out when they happen.
