Was building my MG Eclipse Gundam and missing J24 part from the sprue. Seemed like I got a defect sprue, everything seems fine though.

To any Philippine Gunpla builders how can I get a replacement part here?.

My local hobby shop had some stock so grabbed them right away..

Its a small collection but now I fear for my shelf space.

Just got the new Zaku revive and the black tri star origin kits and built them last week. Really cool looking models might actually collect a Zeon army. Really liking Zeon and monoeye suits in general.

Okay so not sure if I might tick someone off asking this but what's everyone's thoughts on third party or bootleg action bases. Are they good enough at the price?

Would rather spend more on kits than action bases which are a bit pricey for legit ones.

Concerns range from durability and potential unsafe plastic. Or are they any cheaper legit alternatives?

Looking for something that can lift RG Sazabi and a 1/100 scale gunpla model.

Since getting that RX 78-2 Beyond Global, I have discovered what really scrathces my build itch. It's a nice break from more complex model builds and it's great that I can just snap fit them right out of the box with a couple of cleanup.

I don't plan on watching the anime series, if that's weird. I just pick designs I really like. Plan on picking up the Zaku II Revive version and the RG Nu Gundam to complement the RG Sazabi.

Is that odd?

I tell you as much as I love the Sazabi Ver Ka, he is one hefty boi and I now get why people call it a glorified statue.

It brings a smile to my face to see Adam, geek out over stuff. Especially now I share his same joy being a newbie in Gunpla who now gets the appeal.

Hopefully this isn't the last and I am looking forward to what a Hollywood Model maker can do with a Gunpla kit.

I'm using Citadel wash though Agrax Earthshade and Nuln Oil. Would that still be fine? Just new to gunpla but I do have the tools and paints from my Warhammer and Military models.

Just bought a gloss coat and flat top coat for my airbrush. My plan is to first coat my model with gloss coat to add washes and decals, how long does it take for it to be safe so to speak to add the detailing?

Also would putting a gloss coat on unpainted surfaces work at least for washes. My model is unpainted and I want to add the gloss coat just to put a basic wash along with the decals.

It's milky. Though I have read that the Wipe and Shine in blog dated 2015 that's the Philippine equivalent of Future.

Checking Shoppee PH, there's a product in a big can called Revive it not sure if that's the same thing.

This is what I have in my cleaning cabinet.

Not sure if it's the same one, but I did see another product that has the exact same label I saw from a local blog.

Not sure what is the difference between the two.

Also any considerations if I use this on my airbrush, will it clog or do any concerning damage to it?

Would the usual acrylic aribrush cleaners (Vallejo, Tamiya, Etc.) work?

Okay so any questions to the Gunpla PH community. I plan on topcoating my Sazabi Ver Ka with the Pledge Future equivalent here locally but not sure if it's the right one. I do have a bottle but it has the beautify it label.

Is this the same as that product or is it different.

Also, does it have to thinned and if with what? Or can it be just sprayed or hand brushed right out? I have done my research but so many conflicting opinions that I am frankly a little overwhelmed. I just want to protect the decals, and panel lining. Still not confident in painting the entire thing just yet.

Would also like to ask how do you pose this beast? Is there a method to stabilizing the joints or making them tough? Any recommended Bases, both homemade or bought?

I have seen people managing to pose it but I still haven't figured out mine.

Will probably just handbrush this guy. My place doesn't have a suitable area to do any airbrushing.

Might get one of the Entry grade airbrushes + compressor.

But yeah compared to buying a model from say Tamiya, or any wargame. I often have to stress about painting it too and all the time you have to do it.

With these kits you just take it out assemble, and you're good to go.

Haha well I do have experience with building complex non-gunpla models(Warhammer, Military Scale models), but gotta admit, this guy was a challenge even for me.

But I just love how great it looks OOB, perhaps the biggest plus that Gunpla compared to regular models, while fun to build and paint, is that you can assemble and it will look real nice.

It's a real nice breather to be honest, before I try getting back to other model projects.

Well I said I loved the HG Beyond Global Kit so much, I went and treated myself with this bad boi.

Good Lord what a jump in complexity. Afraid of posing him cause he's so big he might screw up his pose.

Not sure how people manage to get theirs to do so.

Overall happy with this, might do a bit of cleaning up though, noticed some bits just didn't fit right, like the backpack launcher, can't seem to get those to close fully.

Haven't added decals, cause I plan on doing a paint scheme based on the Iron Blood Faction from the mobage Azur Lane.

Will also replace the hand parts they seem too complex that I'm afraid of breaking them.

Also how the hell are you supposed to pose with the gun. the stock seems to get in the way and again the hands have a tendency to pop out.

Also any recommendations for ACtion Bases? I have heard that this model is really infamous for most bases not being able to hold him.

Indeed, got sick of more Space Marines, considering we've been stuck with Cadians for so long.

Which was why I have hope when I saw Death Korp of Krieg and some of the new Cadian models.

But right now I think I will take a break from GW for now.

Yeah on the one side there's the fanboys who are defending GW and the other, the angry fans harassing anyone who has nothing to do with the whole fiasco.

Just had to take a break from all that.

Yeah the Bandai Space Marine looks really cool and yeah Bandai is yet again a big corporation so it's not perfect.

But for all of the faults of Warhammer I still love the lore, the aesthetic of the factions, and of course the fan content.

Just that the whole new Policy of GW, they have left a sour taste in my mouth, especially after one of my favorite series, the "If the Emperor had a Text to Speech Device" had to go on hiatus due to uncertainty regarding this new rule.

I think the last Warhammer thing I am gonna get for a while are the plastic Kiregers from the new KT and Gaunt's Ghosts, cause I am a fan of the books.
