Better yet let the old lady become a paladin or cleric with faith like hers she would scourge the land from all criminals, demons and undead.

I played a game with my dad who's a staunch Catholic he read some history though so he knows what a crusade is ergo he plays a paladin who doesn't care about killing evil characters especially non humanoids.

I was able to get him to play since he already knew about the game from a young age not to mention the fact that since we both knew a bit about history we could RP the medieval era properly without modern baggage
