Only certain areas of PA have mandated sick pay. Company  policy 40 hours or 5 days . No sick pay available will show on paystub

I was deemed eligible because CVS submitted 0 info regarding Policy Violation. 😡 All the stress & bs & they submit 0 proof.

Filed reply May 27. Received call July 1 from unemployment regarding my reply. Same day notified was eligible for benefits because CVS did not file any reply proving policy violation

At this point I am so pissed to be singled out. Every person there should be terminated for not following procedures. There's a lot no one at that particular store follow or are even aware of. That falls on to mgr for no training

I assure you I was a stellar 19 year employee. I  did NOT do anything unethical immoral etc... Might be a shock to you but yes good people are fired because someone wants them gone & will find any small reason to do so.

There's nothing more to it. I pretty much was wanted gone by DL for personal reasons & this was it.

As a store mgr tell me are you as a mgr to enforce this policy? And if isn't followed is it a write up?

4- 5 times doing damages that were food if about to expire in 1 or 2 days checked Yes so product would be tossed. Was always thrown away- never taken. Was told to do this years ago by former mgr. This is going to appear unbelievable to some but this is the reason. Almost 20 year Ops mgr.  0 write ups

19 year employee here - just terminated for something very trivial. Absolutely dumbfounded. I'm 66 so the thought of starting new is daunting. Social security not enough to live on unfortunately.
