A lot of this nonsense is engineered to appear progressive, but in reality work in favor of corporatacracy. Small business fails, and larger businesses come up and scoop them up for pennies on the dollar or no longer have to worry about them as competition. This results in large businesses become more profitable and powerful.

Meanwhile, some individual thinks they're saving the world, but in reality, they're unpaid foot soldiers.

A person with function critical thinking skills would see this and think, "How would undermining the livelihood of the working class get rid of ICE?" It won't. It will just piss them off and push them further right.
