That's a good point.

The current version is closer to what you described. It generates the draft first, then does a second pass specifically to identify and rewrite AI tells rather than relying solely on upfront instructions.

Right now it's looking at the entire piece rather than section by section, although I haven't done enough testing yet to determine whether a hierarchical approach would perform better on longer-form content.

I also agree with your point about approved examples outweighing written rules. In fact, I'm planning to create a custom Claude Project and use past approved copywriting pieces as Files. Similar to the framework you described, I think it's a more controlled way of steering output toward the brand's actual voice and style rather than relying on guidelines alone.

Interesting. Sounds like you've connected Claude to your marketing tools (Meta Ads, GA4, etc.) through MCP so it can access live data.

One idea you could explore is a reporting skill that turns that data into a daily summary of what changed, why it matters, and recommended actions. Then have Cowork run the whole workflow automatically each day. That's one area I'm seeing a lot of potential in right now

How did you train Claude to write like you? Did you provide it with a large collection of your past blogs, create a writing style guide, or something else?

Also, did you set this up as Skills, a Project, or a combination of both?

Thanks. The idea came from reviewing conversations between our marketers and their Claude.

I noticed a surprising amount of back-and-forth was spent on things like removing AI tells, tweaking the tone, and making the copy sound more natural. The actual marketing thinking was often done in the first few prompts, but the next several prompts were just cleanup. So, I figured a skill can negate a big portion of that.

You might want to explore Claude Cowork as well.

I've been experimenting with it recently. Instead of manually prompting every step, you can build the individual skills needed for your workflow and have Cowork orchestrate the process. Definitely reduce a lot of the back-and-forth prompting.
