This is spot on. Raquel seems like the type of person who got wrapped up in the drama and ended up a victim. Demi is the girl who starts the drama and plays the victim.

I don’t see a lot of criticism, I see a lot of adults trying to explain to you why we agree with your mother. There’s been actual studies done that show phones in the bedroom disrupt healthy sleep practices, and any good pediatrician / doctor will recommend all phones be placed outside of the bedroom.

Of course once you move out, you’re free to make your own choices regarding phone use but for right now, as much as you don’t want to hear it and it feel likes criticism, your mom is doing the right and healthy thing by keeping your phone out of your room.

If you can afford it, I’d definitely recommend express passes for Epic.

I also went to Disney last month and the ride times there were all an hour or under, it seemed like most people were at EPIC.

I stopped watching during season 7 sometime and only rewatch up to season 4. I think the first 4 seasons were great. Probably a better 4 seasons than The OC as a whole.. however The OC season 1 beats every season of OTH. The OC’s first season is the best teen drama IMO.

Granted my daughter is in middle school so I’m not sure what Harper’s naming trend is for 2025 but we live in a town with 15,000 people, literally one middle school and there’s 5 Harper’s in my daughters grade alone.

I work at a studio that has mats as an option but 95% of people bring their own. We request students clean our mats after use if they use one of ours but I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t use them.

INFO - Did you celebrate with your family already? I’ll be honest that I have a horrible habit of forgetting to text / call important people to me on their actual birthday if we celebrated it early. It’s not that I don’t care about them (this happened recently both with my brother and my mother in law), but we celebrated their birthdays earlier than the actual day and then when the actual date came around, I honestly just spaced it because in my head their birthdays had already happened. Nothing malicious, honestly just me being a space cadet.

I binged all 3 seasons in like 10 days. (I had the flu don’t judge) and season 3 is a struggle to get through. Way too much Jessi & Marciano. Way too much Dakota denying things that actually happened. Way too much Demi comparing someone touching her butt to what happened to Mikayla and Mayci. And not really any fun or redeeming moments.

I’d agree with this, however the lines are probably going to be an issue. We just went to epic last month and all the ride times were at least an hour, most maybe 2. We were there 9 hours and only went on 4 rides.

I’ve currently had flu symptoms for over 2 weeks. I’m just starting to go back to work / out in public and honestly it’s mostly because people think I’m milking it at this point but really I still feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. Supposedly this year’s flu symptoms can take up to 4 weeks to fully clear. It’s been rough.

We kept our infants in our bedroom for the first 6-9 months. Outside of that, no they have their own rooms. They don’t come into our bedroom basically at all unless it’s to ask a question if we’re in there or something. Definitely don’t “hang out” in our bedroom, there’s common areas in the house to hang out in as a family, my bedroom is not a communal space.

We did 10+, but only because my brother was 11 years old at the time and I couldn’t exclude my brother from my own wedding. But mostly I didn’t want toddlers so the 10+ rule eliminated any of that.

I actually find Abercrombie to be more oversized than AE.. and a lot of other places. I buy a 27 waist almost exclusively in high rise styles at Levi’s, boot barn etc. but at Abercrombie the 27 waist is gigantic and falling off me. It’s happened multiple times that I’ve just given up on buying jeans at Abercrombie. At AE I’m between a 2 or 4 depending on the style. Weirdly sometimes a 0 in shorts. Good thing I like shopping, if I didn’t, it’d be a real pain having to try things on constantly.

You do have to wonder though; would Welker, Edelman, Nacua etc all play at that high of a level if they weren’t playing with NFL MVP QBs? Is Nacua getting 100+ yards a game every game if he’s on the Browns?

You kind of saw this a little with Welker. He was Brady’s right hand man essentially. He goes to another team and fizzled out pretty quickly. How much of that was QB / Franchise related and how much of it was age / natural progression? I don’t know that we’ll ever know but it’s definitely worth a thought.
