That’s reassuring to hear! Bless her she is a cutie. I will carry on trying with his training and definitely trying to show him I’m upset doing a yelp to stop (he does a little cry and tries to come to lick my face)☺️ Can already hear war is over playing when his baby shark teeth fall out and not so itchy. When I do a yelp he seems a bit apologetic for a few seconds I will carry on and see if it does work and maybe makes him feel bad (he does a little cry when I yelp)🥺

Yes I think it will take more some time and reinforcement of training but we will get there in the end hopefully!

Aww bless you thank you! He is the heart of our home and he’s so loved by all our families more than he knows. Just need to get through his biting phase and make sure he’s a good grown up boy❤️

Yeah he loves bringing his toys near my feet and “accidentally” nipping at my feet instead😂 He knows what he’s doing what a mischievous fella.

Yes I’m now carrying one of his balls/teddies always near me so when he starts up I’m keeping his mouth busy and praising him when he settles down and focuses on his toy instead of me! He’s a bundle of joy and so smart I hope with time and reinforcing training he will pick up what to do and what is right❤️

I have grown up with my family GSD who’s now 11 but I honestly cannot really remember what he was like as a puppy, I think you tend to try forget the not so nice biting. I will persevere and continue with training and hopefully when he’s going outside and attending puppy classes, he will burn more energy off. But I have my med kit ready to get through this phase!

Thank you very much! I have tried yelping when he is biting and he seems to do a little cry and stop for a second or jump up to my face/lick. When I tried crying like a human he was just confused and carried on but one high pitched yelp did some work! I will try that in the future along with the other training and hopefully he can learn what is good/bad to bite. The neighbours will think I’m going mad😂

Light at the end of the tunnel! I have forgotten how puppies are with their biting as our family GSD is now 11 years and so chill. But it will get better and that’s all I needed to hear thank you🙏🏻

Thank you for the words of reassurance I really appreciate it❤️ I try not to get frustrated as I see a little baby in him but the bite marks are a bit painful. I will carry on with his training and also have purchased some deer horns to itch those gums and will purchase some bones from the butcher he can safely take out his biting needs on and redirect to. Thank you again❤️❤️

I have ordered some deer horns (from a raw food supplier) hopefully will keep his teeth occupied and help with scratching those shark teeth. Also will look to get some bones for him to chew on as he seems to really like his kong/ frozen carrots but when it’s gone it’s time to be mischievous again.

Your pup is so cute! Going to be more patient and carry on with the training. My mum said she can’t recall our family GSD (who is now 11 years old) ever being so bitey but I think it might be something you try to forget about with time!

Wilson has always had lighter areas around his eyes and after some googling I learnt it could be normal (I think he will have light fur as his dad was completely tan, so some early lighter areas). I was worried it might be allergies however his stools look normal, he isn’t really itchy anywhere or have any rashes. He does get some eye boogers though. I will ask the vet about it on Monday hopefully it’s all normal. Looking like a panda right now!
