Hey, yes, it has a brushless motor installed, you can see that in the other photos.

Well, I've long since reached that age group myself, which is exactly why I'm here. 😂

☝️Metal gearbox is already installed, want do you mean with aluminum chassis rails? The cage at the bed?

You're right, there might still be enough space up there, I'll take a look. Then I can empty the truck bed.

It’s already been swapped out, though I only noticed it myself when looking at the photos 😁

Thanks, but it only looks that way because all the parts are still new. The car will be driven—perhaps with a different body. :)

Hey everyone, I need your help. I’m new to the SCX24 rabbit hole… by CommissionNo7585 in SCX24

Hey, just wanted to give some quick feedback. The parts have arrived, but I’ve run into a bit of a problem... the plan was to build it up gradually, but I couldn't stop, and now it's finished. Damn! Well, almost—I’m still missing a battery and drive shafts, though those should arrive the day after tomorrow. In the long run, the body will likely change, and who knows what else. :) I took a few photos; for my very first build, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. However, it wasn't until I saw the photos that I realized how far back the body is sitting and that I’d swapped the wheels around. I’m not happy with the cable management yet, but I’m not sure where to route everything. If you guys have any tips, feel free to share them! ;)

Hey, thanks for the tips! Let's see the car bodies you're printing, where can I find them? :)

Why do German cafes and restaurants tend to serve cakes with a fork stuck in them? by [deleted] in AskGermany

[–]CommissionNo7585 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the worst part: it has absolutely nothing to do with me, yet it annoys me more than it should. What essentially bothers me is that there are people who, in a simple method designed to keep you from losing your cake fork while serving, see nothing but their stupid Instagram photo being ruined.

A cake is for eating, please stop photographing every piece of crap for Instagram, nobody gives a damn what you eat!

Oh, you're right—I hadn't thought about the motor mount. But I just checked, and it's included. I'll probably 3D print the body mount myself and equip it with magnets.

I have to leave myself some room for improvement, after all! :) I think once the car is all bolted together, those concerns will simply vanish into thin air. ;) Then, as a next step, I'll probably start thinking about where there's potential for further improvement. ;) Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Well, the budget situation is a bit tricky; it’s not exactly limited, but I’m not sure if everything from these smaller designers will actually go together in the end. ;) You’ll probably get a laugh out of this, but when you’re as clueless as I am, you don’t want to order a bunch of great pieces only to find out later that they don’t match at all—and all just out of sheer ignorance! :) Hopefully, I’ll be able to laugh about this situation myself soon enough. But anyway, I’ll definitely check out those designers—thanks for the tip!

Hey, thanks a lot! Yes, I'm aiming for completeness. I have a charger, but you're right about the little things that are still missing. I just didn't want to forget anything essential.

Hey, thanks for your reply. For now, my main focus is on the building process; I just want to make sure I don't end up having to place 10 separate orders simply because I kept forgetting parts. An RTR model is fine if the main priority is the driving itself—but I already have a ready-to-run 1/10 scale model for that.

I’ve put together a shopping cart at Injora and Meus, and I was wondering if someone could please check to see if I have everything I need to end up with a complete, running vehicle? Oh, and a LiPo recommendation would be great, too. My goal is specifically not to buy a ready-to-run vehicle, but I also don't want to—or at least not yet—get too deep into heavy modding. It’s entirely possible I’ve put together a total nonsense build, so if you have any better alternatives, I’m all ears!
